Trigeminal Neuralgia Relief Request

Trigeminal Neuralgia is what I am currently dealing with and nothing seems to work "post vaccination". I did notice that my pregablin meds was working up to when I took the first vaccine in Feb. after the 2nd vaccine in Mar it really kicked in and at that time no meds is currently keeping the pain away as the pregablin did pre-vaccination. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

very sorry to say it nothing will help. Increase med dosage may help a little at first, but eventually, you will need surgery that will not permanently fix it. Get used to pain, and extreme pain at that. Sorry to have to say that.

BTW trigeminal 20+ years and laser surgery 3x on both sides of my face.

After yrs of suffering and tegretol, I had gamma knife surgery and full relief x > 10 yrs

That's a relief to hear. I've had the condition for years but was able to quickly and easily control it with Tegretol but this time that turned on me. Some relief from Pregabalin and CBD oil but it's been a month now

i've not found anything. i remember offhandedly mentioning to a neuro when he asked what was new, 'oh and stabbing face pain' not knowing what it was. it sucks. i take gabapentin and it helps with some of my nerve pain, but i still have breakthrough pain, especially when i overdo it.

My husband had gamma knife surgery 9 years ago and no reoccurrence yet.
