Covid 19 close contact

Hi my brother in law came to see us yesterday. He had Christmas day with other members of the family who we haven't seen. He had a negative LFT yesterday before he visited us. He had a message to say his Cousin had tested positive for Covid yesterday. His last contact with her was Christmas day. Am I right that it is contact from 2 days before the person tests positive for Covid, that puts you at risk of being infected? In which case he is unlikely to have picked it up? He is fully vaccinated as are we all in my household.

I am more wary because I had my Tocilizimab injection last week just as I had my routine blood test. Next day informed my white blood cells were low and to not have my meds! I have my injection every two weeks. Thank you for any ones advice. 😊

I'd phone your rheumatology department for advice. And start taking zinc for a couple of weeks if you don't already, it really does help against corona viruses.

Good morning . I think you’re in the clear. We only go back forty eight hours for close contacts at the school I work in. Fingers crossed!

I read it is two days before you show symptoms so take another LFT to be sure. I have covid on day ten now and my LFT are coming up rosey red still. 🤞🏻
