Covid 19 Vaccinations
Many patients are worried about getting covid even after
vaccination
, The good news is that much can be done to improve immune function and general health as explained in my other posts. There seems to be a great deal of confusion about covid 19.

Wedding Vows and Infusion treatments
I have a family wedding on Oct 2 my next infusion is Oct 5, should I be worried? Fully vaccinated late August. Wedding is in NH I live in Mass, my NH family is less worried by covid some against vaccine. I will feel funny wearing a mask and will that keep me safe? Would you go right before your infusion

New data on mRNA booster vs antibody, bigger dose works better
Antibody jump is relevant in this from NIH: https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/measuring-protection-after-covid-19-
vaccination
<<The protection conferred by the vaccine increased as levels of these antibodies increased>> Most of us want the best response to pad our immune condition

Immunocompromised can develop a good immune response after vaccination against SARCoV-2
It was hitherto unclear whether a SARS-CoV-2
vaccination
guarantees an adequate response, particularly in patients taking so-called B-cell-depleting drugs (e.g. rituximab to treat rheumatoid arthritis).

Immunosuppressed
I had PMR 13 years ago which was diagnosed eventuallyby my physio daughter when I visited her in London. I had what I think of now as typica PMR . My GP was very hazy about PMR but after a blood test that I requested she phoned to say my ESR was 70 and she had left me out some tablets. So was started

Vaccinations
I read that Pfizer is the better
vaccination
to have if you have Vasculitis or Lupus? Bit confusing.

Wait 3 months before second dose?
There is evidence now that one can achieve a greater immune response by receiving the second jab after 3 months and that this approach might make a third booster unnecessary. We are in one grand experiment after all so expect evolving advice. https://www.verywellhealth.com/delaying-second-covid-vaccine-dose

SLE & Covid
Morning, I’m double vaccinated and got my positive covid result this morning. I have been floored since Thursday. Swinging temp, tonsillitis, cough, plus lupus in overdrive: oral sores cover entire roof of mouth and palate, rash extra red and fiery, swelling / facial oedema on top form 😫 and I won’t

Local legend 🤣
Week 3 run 1 with friend recovering from a cold and me recovering from a flu jab, I’d hate to put anyone off because i think it’s important as many people are vaccinated against flu but that’s not been fun at all. We really enjoyed that, the 90 seconds felt good and afterwards my friend said she enjoyed

Very curious about GB covid testing
I live in Canada. I was speaking with a friend who said in GB you go to the chemist and pick up packs of five covid tests for free and test yourself even if you are vaccinated. Just wondering if this is true and how it works. Do you test yourself everyday? In Alberta our ICU’s are full with unvaccinated

Antibodies Negative
Hello everyone hope you are all keeping well, in my quest I had been offered the antibody test and although I have been jabbed twice it’s negative. I’m in a flare with Bronchiectasis with a staph infection (it’s been ongoing since February and seems at home now!) so on IVs for the third time. In between

Diagnosed with Encephalitis
A few days later I started having headaches which was put down to the 2nd covid
vaccination
I'd just had. My symptoms worsened when I was resting in bed one day and suddenly I had this overwhelming feeling that something terrible was about to happen to me!

Immune Compromised Patients May Get 3rd Vaccination
I mentioned this story in a reply I just made to a different Post, and decided it was too important a story to leave only in that reply. So I'm now posting about it. In essence my blood test at Quest Labs to see if my two vaccine shots resulted in any antibodies came back "NONE" I've been a little

TIA
Has anyone on here had a similar experience related to the
vaccination
or know where I can go to get help and advice regarding this and whether I can have an alternative vaccine (I’ve only had first one)? I have tried addressing with clinicians but nobody wants to acknowledge it.

So fearful of Covid and people who di not mask and social distance
I have been vaccinated at the first date that was available to me, but have been so very terrified during this pandemic. I rarely go out and if must to doctor or other absolute necessity, always mask and social distance . I get angry at anyone who does not and I have panic and anxiety til I am back in

Shingles vaccine
I had my first Shingrix
vaccination
yesterday. I was actually very worried about side effects. Well. A few hours after getting it I felt really fatigued. You all know what that's like.
