Morning! If I were you I wouldn’t stress about it but ask your haematologist. Louise

Ha! Try getting in touch with your haematologist. I was on the phone for an hour the other day trying to speak to my specialist nurse. I even had her name, but after being connected to several (wrong) departments, I admitted defeat. Will speak to my GP tomorrow

Hi LynneYou know if you’re disappointed with your treatment and access to your haematologist then may I respectfully suggest that you shop elsewhere? I have my haematologists email address and he or one of his team unfailingly replies within 24 hours.

There’s always snail mail you know, a nice hand written letter sent recorded delivery and marked “ private and confidential “ should get a response. If not, then I fear you’re attending the wrong hospital.

Don’t put up with being treated as a second class citizen because you’re not. I suggest you also ask your gp to write to your consultant.

remember - doctors and haematologists are trained in pharmaceutical therapeautics only. There are other things we can do to help ourselves - in this area as well as in general.
