Suggestions For Reducing 'Off' Time
I sent this message to my Neurologist from Mayo Clinic who works under Eric Ahlskog who wrote “The New Parkinson’s Disease Treatment Book”. I am looking for any suggestions regarding how I can reduce my ‘off’ times that are becoming more and more severe. I’m trying to hold off on the DBS surgery and

The latest news
Following on from Margaret’s post about a month ago, I’m writing on her behalf today because she is still very unwell from a virus that she picked up 3 weeks ago and since two days ago has had the added pain and shock to her system from 2 extractions ready for her much delayed Zoledronic acid infusion

preserflo rear eye pain
Hi Guys underwent right eye preserflo yesterday. I am getting a random pain at the bottom rear of my eye. No idea why as I believed the stunt went into the upper eye ball. Has anyone else experienced this after this surgery? Sleeping for the first night was uncomfortable when on my back and the side

hello there, I’m Steve. I have been living with auto immune liver disease for 20+ years now and I was recommended to join by a social prescriber at my local doctors surgery today! I’m just looking for support from people with autoimmune hepatitis and other liver conditions, who have found it difficult

Accuracy of PSMA PET scan?
What would you venture to guess is the accuracy of the PSMA PET scan? How many of you showed "no spread" with your PSMA scan, but then learned via surgery or otherwise that there WAS spread which wasn't detected with the PSMA scan? And, how much better is the new Posluma scan vs Pylarify? My husband

Precordial T wave changes
I had an ecg last week and this result is coming up on my Airmid app with a ? ischaemia beside it. "Precordial T wave changes ? ischaemia" Should I contact my surgery for clarification? I also had a blood test and those results have come back with no abnormalities although they didn't take cholesterol

6 days post circumcision concerns
I’m on my 6th day of recovery from a full circumcision, and although the incision wound looks to be healing well I have a few concerns. 1. The head of my penis feels very sensitive as you would expect, however below the head where the stitches are feels very tight and is making the head feel as though

Do I need to go back on Thyroxine?
Just a heads up folks, this is going to be a long post! I have been off thyroxine for just over a year now, I will attempt to explain in a long winded way how this came about. I was put on thyroxine when I went into menopause which happened before I was 50 (I am now 62). I have always been on 50mg,

Steroid rash
I've been taking Prednisolone for a year and have developed a red itchy steroid rash on my face. Can it be managed naturally without running off to the surgery. I use make up when I go anywhere but I wonder if that irritates it further. I am reducing my Pred. but I'm on 9mg still.

No to Lansoprazole
Well my GP is not prepared to issue me a prescription for Lansoprazole as she says my results from the endoscopy having been on esomeprazole for now over 3 and a half years prove that it is effective and 30mg Lansoprazole may not be so . She is willing to reconsider if the GI consultant says different
