circumsticion phimosis

hi guys just had my surgery today as has phimosis for 28 years it seems like when I pee the pee hole seems tight and the pee going everywhere from sides is this normal any one had this before by any chance ?

Hey, welcome to the club! Get used to that, it will be like it for a few days! My advice, sit to pee for a couple of weeks!

thanks for reply also today was my surgery but it looks like am still bleeding a bit I mean I haven’t changed my dressing but when I went out of hospital and I had my trousers on with no pants there was blood on my trousers but worried that the stitches could not be tight enough has anyone had blood straight after surgery ? My top of penis the glans are so swollen even when I touch it with like a towel it’s so I don’t know what’s the word for it kind of painful but very irritating is well I can’t touch the head completely I still having the local anaesthetic on as I don’t feel the penis but I can feel the head

Take the pain killers the Doctor will have given you for a few days. You may have traces of blood for a few more days as well. Try not to worry to much about it. Rest plenty! Sleep when you can, and prepare yourself for some broken sleep nights.

Yeah I have some codein what do you mean broken sleep nights ? Is it because of the pain. Also I had the local anaesthetic it’s been 12 hours now but I still can’t feel my penis lol

That will happen for a while till everything settles down inside. Remember your penis has just had a bit of trauma and manhandling. I also sat down for a couple of weeks to spare the wallpaper

Hey man you're very early days. On my first day I had no idea what was going on and my penis looked like it belonged to somebody else. Give it a few days.Yes I had bleeding and discomfort but I was expecting it so just waited for things to get better which they did

thanks for reply. I fink am just panicking to much it’s the first day is well. How long did you leave the first dressing for ? As I got my one on now for 12 h almost they told me leave it for 24h but when i urine my dressing is all wet now soaking wet from when i pass urine I goes under the dressing for some reason…

I was told to keep it on for 24 hours but if it got covered in pee just get rid of it. I was sent home with spare dressings so rewrapped it

Same here but it seems like I can’t take the gauze off under the bandage it’s stucked and when I pool it there’s blood coming out from under. Can’t seem to peel of the bandage under the bandage if you know what I mean mate.

The only way I could get it off was to soak it off in shower. Don't try pulling it off.

I had the exact same issue after my circumcision, sounds pretty standard just sit down to piss for the first week and everything will be ok.

Hi John. Yes, with it all swollen peeing is tricky. Also with the bleeding this is normal in the first few days - as long as it isn't excessive. Also be prepared for overnight erections to wake you and hurt a bit. Again it feels like they are pulling on the stitches, but they shouldn't affect healing. Only other advice is to dip your penis in salt water to clean and prevent infection. Avoid soap and don't scrub it just swill it around. I used a pint glass!

Hi thanks for the reply the head of penis very sensitive can’t touch it with anything my dressing is keep on sliding off so I decided to just put some Vaseline and walk around naked with no dressing ? Could there be any issues with that not having a dressing on as it’s more comfortable at the moment . It also stopped bleeding

I was actually sent home without a dressing on at all! If you can be naked and not move too much that's ideal. Letting it hang free was only an issue when wearing dressing gown as it bumped into it. So for me it was be naked or held upright in tight pants if I needed to be dressed.

Ha I noticed that is well when being naked and wearing a dressing gown it’s bumping into my penis head which is so sore. So I fink I will try and be naked as much as I can I mean am working from home so that’s not too bad but I have kids so it’s not ideal to walk around naked but when am alone in the room it’s fine . The stitches seem very hard and they like needles. I had a friend who done the surgery in Poland and it was with a laser which there was no bleeding and the stitches he had was like very light in sense that it was very soft but I guess everyone has the own way of doing it. Any idea when would the stitches fall out ? They are poking my penis as they are hard like blady needles …

I think it was week 4 when mine fell out. My salt water dipping helped ease the last of them. Can't say mine were hard and stabbing me. My doc did say to use Vaseline or even some savlon cream if there was irritation. I work from home too which was handy except in No ember it was a bit chilly! Just remember not to stand up when on a zoom call 🤣

Haha! Yeah it is chilly with no clothes on not gone lie lol. Ah mate am sure my team wouldn’t mind ha. Am so paranoid I fink because my pee hole looks very tight and it is tight because when I pass urine I feel the pressure on my penis. And the stream is quite weak I hope this is normal the pee hole looks like it’s completely closed but I can still pass urine irs a bit swollen is well it’s my second day after the surgery no bleeding the pain is not too bad but I don’t want to jings it

Must admit, I didn't get a tight pee hole but the swelling is epic so it's probably just that. Should improve after a few days I'd say....

All good advice from Devon-uk. I got rid of my bandage by sitting in a shallow bath of warm water till it came loose. No soap.My first night I thought I'd made a mistake getting it done, but don't regret it now.

yes completely normal, I think due to the swelling but same thing happened for me, it will get better with time

Your stitches could take up to a couple of weeks to disappear. One of mine at the frenulum took forever because that was where everything was tied off. They are annoying though especially as they work their way out.You need to patience I'm afraid.

Wait till you get night erections they are even more annoying!

Just read your peehole problem. Sometimes the peehole and/or urethra can get a bit squashed during the procedure and takes a little while to get back to normal.
