Another loss
After having a tooth out last week and then developing cold, I wasn’t quite up to keeping on top of my steps. Had a few treats too. Surprise! I still lost a pound and measure myself another 2 inches gone from my body. Just the lift I needed to get back to 100% focus. Plus cold has nearly cleared-thank

Getting back after a cold
Hi, I was about to start week 3 and came down with a cold. I’ve tried running this week but only managed about 15 minutes each time. I can do the week 3 intervals but start coughing after about 15 minutes so walk home. Should I just repeat week 3 next week or go back to week 2? Cheers

Head cold and aching body
Hi what do you all do if you just get the normal cold and generally not feel great? I don’t want to bother doctor with just a cold but hubby always says you need to make sure that it’s not an infection. I just think it’s run of the mill head cold.

Buprenorphine (sp?)
This is a paper on the use of Buprenorphine in older people rather than Oxycontin ( as some of us are) it talks about addiction-- but I prefer to see it as dependency!😩😎 May be worth talking to your pain manager about it? https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/923754 Cheers.

Does the flu make derealization worse?
I have been suffering from derealization now for about two months. About a week ago I came down with the flu along with the rest of my family. It was diagnosed via nasal swab at the doctor’s office as “influenza type B”. This version of the flu was relatively mild; it lasted about a week with fever

Wuhan Flu Anxiety
Lately, the news have been abuzz in regards to the Wuhan Flu pneumonia that's been going around, and it's making me crazy anxious. I don't know why. I think it's because I'm located in Southeast Asia and there's also three people who has contracted the flu. I'm terrified - I legitimately panicked just

Baby’s 1st cold
Hi ladies... is it normal for baby to vomit whilst having a cold. Baby just woke up and is quite congested anyway and he vomited his yoghurt from this morning whilst coughing?

What you don't know about pneumonia: It is the 'big killer' for people of any age.
For six hours in a Saint Luke's Hospital emergency room recently, Dakota Allen worried that he might become a fatal pneumonia statistic. He'd been coughing for weeks. "I overlooked it," said the 20-year-old who works two jobs, one of them at Operation Breakthrough in Kansas City. "I thought it could

Deja vu or something else?
Hi. I know you can't specifically 'diagnose ' or medically advise but I was wondering if you experience anything like this and if you know what it is. I can't get my doctor to take it seriously. I have a tbi that I got after a car crash in January 2007. I suffered a diffuse axon injury to my right

Do your feet get cold after eating...sugar?
In an attempt to reduce protein and fat interactions with levodopa absorption, I increased carbohydrates. What i thought was levodopa wearing off, turned out to be poly neuropathy aggravated by increased blood sugar. I noticed my feet getting cold after eating and googled feet getting cold after eating

Antiviral Compound Offers Hope Against Deadly Flu.
What keeps most infectious disease researchers up at night aren’t infamous viruses like Ebola. Instead, influenza, commonly known as the flu, continues to be a clear and present danger to humanity. “Influenza is a huge problem, as the virus sickens or kills millions of people each year,” says David

Week 3.2 - harder in the cold?
My second week 3 this evening was my hardest run yet. Probably just the cumulative effect of pushing my body... but I do wonder if it's because of the cold? It was a bit icy in places, do definitely my coldest outing to date. I still finished the runs though. 😊

Week 3 done
I did my final run of week 3 in the park this morning, cold and frosty but sunny. I found it much harder than runs 1 and 2 of week 3. I don’t know why? 🤷♀️ I knew it was going to be cold this morning, so I bought myself a long-sleeved running top yesterday. Who am I?!
