A randomised single-centre trial of inhaled liposomal cyclosporine for bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome post-lung transplantation.
Outcomes after lung transplantation are poor due to bronchiolitis obliterans. Since bronchiolitis obliterans is not readily demonstrated by lung biopsies, the term bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome (BOS) is applied, defined as a sustained forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV1) decline. Cold during 2WW
Hello, I had a lovely blasto transferred yesterday. 5+ years of waiting to get to egg transfer and plenty of bumps along the way. I felt great yesterday but today I woke up with a sore throat and cough and just knew that it was going to be a stinking cold. Anyone got BFPs following a cold in the 2ww?

I had my flu jab over a week ago then developed a tickly cough, breathlessness on exertion ( more than usual) and still don't feel 100% Has anyone else had a reaction after the flu jab?

Flu shot for seniors
Hello all, I’m about to get my flu shot and am wondering if the vaccine for seniors is stronger and would cause any more side effects or reactions? I’m 76,PMR/GCA, currently on 11 mg tapering to 10.

Kennel Cough?😷😷
Hi Everyone. Just a quickie! My husband took two of our dogs to the vet yesterday for their annual boosters. They asked him if anyone in our house was immuno-suppressed. My husband told them that I was & that I’m on Methotrexate. She wouldn’t give them the Kennel Cough vaccine as it’s live & they squirt

Messages of Hope? - Pneumonia ICU
Hello, I’m writing this to reach out for some messages of hope. I am 20 years old and my dear aunt has been rushed into ICU for community acquired pneumonia. When we found her, she was slumped and unresponsive, home alone in bed. We called 999 straight away but had to wait an agonising 6 hours for an

Going back work again.
After another 8 days of resting, it is time to dip my toes back into the work environment once more. Next week will be my check-up, x-ray and bloods, to make sure that I am free from pneumonia, that put me in hospital 5 weeks ago, it seems a lot longer than that though. A chilly 6/7°C outside at the

Flu jab - still sitting on the fence
Sorry, it's me back again, still sitting on the fence about whether to have which flu jab. I have the choice of the one with the adjuvant, which I'm scared of in case I have a flare, or the quadrivalent one, which I had no problems with last year, but I've heard it doesn't really work if you are over

Kids flu sprays
Hi folks, can anyone remember how long you have to keep away from the kids when they have the flu spray up their noses as I know it’s different from us adults being a live culture and if they sneeze, think it 48 hours but not sure, cannot remember from last year how long I kept my distance 🤪 Ta jean

Flu shots
Hello! I work in a pediatric emergency department and am finishing my nursing degree. I am required to get the flu shot for both my job and my clinical rotations. I tolerated the flu shot last year, however this past year my symptoms greatly escalated before diagnosis. How have you reacted to the flu

Pred at lunchtime & flu
Newbie questions, sorry! Doctor said to take Pred in morning with food. I never eat breakfast and don’t fancy any food that time of day, but know Pred must be taken with food! Now I’m on a diet (as also diagnosed prediabetic) and really resent having to eat at that time! Every day I’ve been getting flu
