Flu like symptoms endometriosis

Hi does anyone have flu like symptoms the day before their period wit endometriosis?

Absolutely. I get milder (contextually! In relation to endometriosis pain and symptoms!) Symptoms the moment I begin to ovulate which build up and complete to a horrible head when my period comes. Just like the flu but lots of bleeding and horrific pain.

For me I try to establish or identify routines across my system and manage them in that way although my body still likes to throw me curve balls sporadically

Best thing I did was learn to accept the endo and try to live my life around it. Yes it means sacrificing things, being dull and having early nights, being super cautious about what I can do and no it isn't fair. But it was that or go mad. I grieved for my career, home, relationship etc

But I'm far happier than I was and endometriosis has even taught me some valuable lessons I might not have learnt without it. I fought the good fight but in the end I had to accept. Get to know your symptoms and learn to live as intuitively as you can around them. Good luck! Xxx

Yeah. I thought i was the only one! I concluded that endometriosis is a auto-immune disease so i've started taking echinacea and vitamin c. i cant say if this helps the flu-like symptoms yet. i only started last month. I get feverish, joint pain (esp hands, feet and legs). Lightheadedness and minor headaches.
