Head cold and aching body

Hi what do you all do if you just get the normal cold and generally not feel great? I don’t want to bother doctor with just a cold but hubby always says you need to make sure that it’s not an infection. I just think it’s run of the mill head cold.

Watch for fever, chills, or any signs of possible infection - sinus, throat, chest. Do see a doctor if you think things are progressing to an infection. Hubby is right.

If you still feel bad and no improvement with otc meds in 3 days, then suggest you get checked out. 💕🙏💕

Get on the phone with your oncologist if your temp reaches 100.5 degrees. That is the key thing to pay attention to.

I had the same thing. Called the hem/onc. They suggested a visit to the GP for antibiotics, just in case, because OTC meds weren't touching it. My nodes are still out of control, but I know my body is fighting.

Feel better!

I have had a cold since Christmas. I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and took antibiotics for a week. It cleared up but I still have a cold. I saw onc PA last week and she said to return in two weeks if I am still sick. Someone already mentioned that you should see your onc if you have a fever of 100 or above. Always remember that. Also, ask about IVIG infusion; builds up your immune system and has worked very well for me.

Best of luck,
