Chronic cough and MF
Hey, everyone, I was diagnosed with post ET MF last September. It seemed to coincide with a cough which I attributed to allergies and my hematologist doesn’t seem to be too concerned but I still have that cough which sometimes can result in a terrible coughing fit. My Primary care doctor says my lungs

Gutted
I finished week 7 on Tuesday having plodded (literally) through the programme. I have now caught the worst cold and cough I have had in years and been unable to get out again (or even out of my pjs for two days now). So disappointed and worried this undoes all my good work 😭

Vaginal dryness
I have tried various moisturisers but no relief from the burning sensation. Fortunately no itching. Have had internal exam by my GP and she found nothing abnormal just looked slightly inflamed. Have started using Vagifem pessaries this week. I have had this problem for over a year I am 83. How long will

Hi everyone I’m new to this community. I’m wondering if anyone is having slight breathing problems when having a cold after having PE twice.
I had unprovoked pulmonary embolism in September 2016 ,treated with 3 months of heparin injections. In July 2017 I had another one. Now I’m on lifelong Warfarin. My life /lungs never been the same again. When it was diagnosed I had shortness of breath on any physical activity. I don’t smoke, never did

Blood coated Mucus clots
A week ago, I started noticing blood soaked mucus clots when I cough or sneeze (especially in the morning) I visited a Dr who initially diagnosed this as Acute Bronchitis. He gave me an antibiotic and asked for a CT scan. CT scan report says normal chest CT scan. I finished my Antibiotic yesterday and

Bronchiectasis
Hi I just been diagnosed with Bronchiectasis. For years ive been in and out of hospital with pneumonia. I get really breathless. Every time I see the doctor I have to explain that I suffer with pneumonia, but it's like they don't believe me and send me home saying its a chest infection. Then a week later

Urinary contraction muscle and focal refraction muscle related
I've been noticing that my vision has become more and more blurry over the past few months. I also had been having trouble urinating with ease. (Basically, it would take a while for my bladder to decide it was ready to release its contents). I had read that Cymbalta(taking for pain) could cause urinary

Floored by cough and cold. Never completed Run 3 week 2. Do I start again?
Due to do final run last Sunday but then Ciara hit. Then I got cough and cold and have been in bed since.... should I start week 2 again? It’s going to take me years to complete this. Depressing ☹️

Autoimmune Gastritis - Low B12 and Pepsin in saliva
I was just diagnosed with AG (from biopsy). Next they tested my B12 - 339 so on the lower end Started b12 subling - and now B12 >2000 I also have esophageal symptoms of burning there and in my throat... Took Pepsin test and they detected Pepsin in my saliva Gastro says since there was no acid found

Advice on picking up the plan after a short break
So I've just caught a mild cold - but it's moved straight to my chest, so now I have a 'productive' chesty and wheezy cough. The advice seems to be "take a break" if the cough is below the neck, so I expect to be out of action for a week or so while this clears. This is very frustrating, having got to

Egg Collection Tomorrow and I'm full of cold 🤧
So went for a follow up scan yesterday and the nurses were very pleased with how much my follicles had grown over the weekend. (They were squeaking away to themselves in excitement!). I'm all booked in for 8.30am tomorrow to have my eggs collected and have done my trigger injection! Currently off work

Chest X-Ray, Marked Interstitial Drawing
Hi all, first timer here. I live over in sunny Poland, and about two weeks back I came down with a bit of a cough. Now, my doctor thought it was bronchitis and put me on anti-biotics, which didn’t clear. So went back again today to then get referred for an x-ray. Now, me and my wife translated the x-ray

Oil of oregano
Do you know if it’s okay to take oil of oregano with prednisone? Years before having PMR I used it to get over the flu. My cough was gone in two days. I have a huge cough now and on antibiotics for it. Any opinions welcomed. I have to be better for my cataract surgery this Thursday. Thanks

Little one is poorly
My LG is 6 months and has her first cold. It started with snuffly sounds while nursing yesterday. Last night was a bad night as she woke 5 times instead of her usual 2. She didn’t even settle that well after nursing like she usually does. She was very restless. Today she has developed a cough. Please

I have been on Urso for a couple of years now and have had a dry irritating cough for at least that long. I don't know if it is due to the Urso, side effects do state cough and sore throat. I just wonder if anyone has had this problem and what to do about it. I am on nexium 40mg daily and taking an antihistamine

Prontogest injections in bum/ thigh
So I posted about this a day or so ago and had a long chat with the nurse in the clinic today so thought I would share.... The reason that some clinics recommend, in the first instance, that you inject prontogest in your bum is because that is what the manufacturers of the drug recommend. It is because
