In spite of my apprehension and a break of 4 days due to an awful cold and cough I took the advice provided and went for it - glad I did although the final couple of minutes of the last run were difficult and not helped by being uphill. Must plan my route more precisely but looking forward now to R2

Who is the best Healthcare Professional to see
I was just on the website of an NHS GP practice. It offers this list of reasons you might need to see someone and identifies who would be appropriate. Spot âthyroidâ in any form! (âTiredness and fatigueâ doesnât count â too nebulous, not at all specific.) Given that levothyroxine is just about the most-prescribed

First childhood flu helps explain why virus hits some people harder than others.
Why are some people better able to fight off the flu than others? Part of the answer, according to a new study, is related to the first flu strain we encounter in childhood. Scientists from UCLA and the University of Arizona have found that peopleâs ability to fight off the flu virus is determined not

Flulike cold and afib
I am having the third horrible cold in 2 months and although I usually have paroxysmal afib I find at the moment I am in practically permanent afib. I don't know whether to ride it out till my cold gets better or put myself on flecanaide which I hate because of the side effects, twice a day and still

Treatment Resistance. Enzalutamide & Exenatide (synthetic exendin-4).
New cell study below [1]. Treatment resistance begins on day 1 of treatment. Cells under attack have a variety of survival strategies to fall back on. Activation of the the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway is fairly common [2]. I have long wondered why PCa drugs don't come paired with drugs to inhibit resistance

Another loss
After having a tooth out last week and then developing cold, I wasnât quite up to keeping on top of my steps. Had a few treats too. Surprise! I still lost a pound and measure myself another 2 inches gone from my body. Just the lift I needed to get back to 100% focus. Plus cold has nearly cleared-thank

Getting back after a cold
Hi, I was about to start week 3 and came down with a cold. Iâve tried running this week but only managed about 15 minutes each time. I can do the week 3 intervals but start coughing after about 15 minutes so walk home. Should I just repeat week 3 next week or go back to week 2? Cheers

Head cold and aching body
Hi what do you all do if you just get the normal cold and generally not feel great? I donât want to bother doctor with just a cold but hubby always says you need to make sure that itâs not an infection. I just think itâs run of the mill head cold.

Buprenorphine (sp?)
This is a paper on the use of Buprenorphine in older people rather than Oxycontin ( as some of us are) it talks about addiction-- but I prefer to see it as dependency!đ©đ May be worth talking to your pain manager about it? https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/923754 Cheers.

Does the flu make derealization worse?
I have been suffering from derealization now for about two months. About a week ago I came down with the flu along with the rest of my family. It was diagnosed via nasal swab at the doctorâs office as âinfluenza type Bâ. This version of the flu was relatively mild; it lasted about a week with fever

Wuhan Flu Anxiety
Lately, the news have been abuzz in regards to the Wuhan Flu pneumonia that's been going around, and it's making me crazy anxious. I don't know why. I think it's because I'm located in Southeast Asia and there's also three people who has contracted the flu. I'm terrified - I legitimately panicked just
