Egg Collection Tomorrow and I'm full of cold đ¤§
So went for a follow up scan yesterday and the nurses were very pleased with how much my follicles had grown over the weekend. (They were squeaking away to themselves in excitement!). I'm all booked in for 8.30am tomorrow to have my eggs collected and have done my trigger injection! Currently off work

Chest X-Ray, Marked Interstitial Drawing
Hi all, first timer here. I live over in sunny Poland, and about two weeks back I came down with a bit of a cough. Now, my doctor thought it was bronchitis and put me on anti-biotics, which didnât clear. So went back again today to then get referred for an x-ray. Now, me and my wife translated the x-ray

Oil of oregano
Do you know if itâs okay to take oil of oregano with prednisone? Years before having PMR I used it to get over the flu. My cough was gone in two days. I have a huge cough now and on antibiotics for it. Any opinions welcomed. I have to be better for my cataract surgery this Thursday. Thanks

Little one is poorly
My LG is 6 months and has her first cold. It started with snuffly sounds while nursing yesterday. Last night was a bad night as she woke 5 times instead of her usual 2. She didnât even settle that well after nursing like she usually does. She was very restless. Today she has developed a cough. Please

Dry irritating cough
I have been on Urso for a couple of years now and have had a dry irritating cough for at least that long. I don't know if it is due to the Urso, side effects do state cough and sore throat. I just wonder if anyone has had this problem and what to do about it. I am on nexium 40mg daily and taking an antihistamine

Prontogest injections in bum/ thigh
So I posted about this a day or so ago and had a long chat with the nurse in the clinic today so thought I would share.... The reason that some clinics recommend, in the first instance, that you inject prontogest in your bum is because that is what the manufacturers of the drug recommend. It is because

The dreaded cold...!
So I've made it to week 3 (yay) but was struck down by a cold so haven't been running for a week. Feeling very unmotivated...does anyone have any advice about getting back on track after missing a week...I really don't want to give up this time!

W4R1 - Steps it up!
After a 2 week lay-off from running with heavy cold and chest infection ('man-flu'!) I pondered whether I needed to go back to W3R3, or before that even, but decided that I'm over my 'man-flu', so I'd go for it... W4R1! First thing the legend Michael Johnson says is that it's time to step it up a notch

Fed up with always getting colds and bugs
I ended 2018 with a nasty chest infection which took months and a ton of medication to budge. After that I seemed to have a cold or a bug every few weeks, all through the year. 2019, I spent 2nd Christmas in a row, too poorly to get out of bed (with a cold, each time, rather than regular hypo symptoms

W4R1
In spite of my apprehension and a break of 4 days due to an awful cold and cough I took the advice provided and went for it - glad I did although the final couple of minutes of the last run were difficult and not helped by being uphill. Must plan my route more precisely but looking forward now to R2

Who is the best Healthcare Professional to see
I was just on the website of an NHS GP practice. It offers this list of reasons you might need to see someone and identifies who would be appropriate. Spot âthyroidâ in any form! (âTiredness and fatigueâ doesnât count â too nebulous, not at all specific.) Given that levothyroxine is just about the most-prescribed

First childhood flu helps explain why virus hits some people harder than others.
Why are some people better able to fight off the flu than others? Part of the answer, according to a new study, is related to the first flu strain we encounter in childhood. Scientists from UCLA and the University of Arizona have found that peopleâs ability to fight off the flu virus is determined not

Flulike cold and afib
I am having the third horrible cold in 2 months and although I usually have paroxysmal afib I find at the moment I am in practically permanent afib. I don't know whether to ride it out till my cold gets better or put myself on flecanaide which I hate because of the side effects, twice a day and still
