Vinpocetine regulates levels of circulating TLRs in Parkinson's disease patients 2019
I started today asking "what can I remove from my stack?" And of course, now I am probably adding to my stack: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/328251573_Vinpocetine_regulates_levels_of_circulating_TLRs_in_Parkinson%27s_disease_patients As close as I can tell, it looks like the dosing was 20

Effects of safinamide on REM sleep behavior disorder in Parkinson disease: A randomized, longitudinal, cross-over pilot study 2021
CC clued me into this. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34373044/ Results: Twenty-two of 30 patients reported clear improvement in symptoms during safinamide treatment, and 16 were absolutely free from clinical RBD-symptoms at the end of the treatment. Eight patients reported slight improvement in RBD-symptoms

Allodynia has become a joke.
So I have suffered with Allodynia on my head a long time and I have adapted to its pain when resting my head on a pillow, washing my hair, wearing a hat etc BUT now its burning my scalp from...sweat! That's right, whenever I sweat from my head it burns me! It's the hot season in the UK so as you can

Hi All Some advice appreciated please. I started my PMR journey almost 4 years when I was 49, and after a couple of bumps along the way am now at 1. 5/1mg of Prednisone using the DSNS method. For a couple of months or so, I have been experiencing returning stiffness in my hips, thighs and shoulder blades

Short FET IVF cycle, no down-regulation only progynova
Hi everyone, advice needed please… I’ve had a failed fresh transfer and a failed frozen transfer ending in chemical pregnancy. My next option is to go into another frozen transfer on a short protocol with no down regulation. Has anyone had any experience of a shorter frozen protocol? It’s great to have

Sleep Apnea
Hi. Any CLL peeps out there with swollen tonsils have to do the CPAP machine or mouth gear for apnea? I am feeling out options and both seem to stink to me. CLL is enough. I decided tonsils are staying in throat for now!

Skipped beats in a row
I can go about my day to day fine with no symptoms, and out of nowhere and during my sleep I can have about 5 skipped beats in a row before I jump back into NSR - does anyone else have experience of this? It’s very jolting waiting to go back to NSR, I’m about to start bisopropol to see if this will help

Blood test results , platelet distribution width??
Hiya, I am low in b12 and SI EOD at the moment. Have been going through my blood results and have noticed my Platelet distribution width is always really high(35-55%) and my plateletcrit is always really low. I’m not sure what these are as I notice they aren’t usually in others results. Any input? I

Iboga / Ibogaine Summary (For Dopamine Regeneration!!)
I recently discovered Ibogaine / Iboga in my general psychedelics interest. It is a shrub from the Congo basin of Africa that has been used for thousands of years in healing and ceremony, stemming from the Pygmy and Fang cultures, in traditional Bwiti practices. It is still used by those that practice

Brain Fog ?
At this point brain fog is my most annoying side effect of ADT. I am going to start carrying around a pad of paper and pen so I can write down what I am doing. If I go to the shed to get something by the time I get there I have forgotten. It is interesting that it is really just short term memory. I

On buserelin again
Hi girlies, so we’re on round 2 day 5 of down reg. I feel absolutely fine 🥳. When we started back in May the buserelin killed me, the first 5 days were awful and I had every side effect! This time nothing, just a bit hungrier than normal. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m not complaining one bit

Magnesium Supplements
I'm taking 350mg soluble magnesium carbonate every other day, as suggested by my GP before I was diagnosed. However, I have read that Magnesium Glycinate is specifically recommended for absorption and also as a sleep aid of sorts. Would welcome any feedback - i.e. what dose should be taken daily

Gastrointestinal Dysfunction in Parkinson’s Disease 2021 Jan
There is an incredible amount of information about the PK effect on the gastrointestinal system in this paper. Pictures too! https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7866791/ This part about the aggregated α-synuclein being all through the gut made me think of mannitol and if it is stopping α-synuclein
