Do you have constant low level back pain at the bottom of your back?
I’m on 5 different drugs and wondering if any of them likely causing low level back pain? The drugs are Candesartan, Asprin, Prasugrel, Bisoprolol and Pravastatin. When on so many drugs it’s difficult to know which one it might be.

COVID Vaccination
Hi Hearties I’m having my COVID vaccination next week and wondered if any of you had a choice of what vaccine to have. I feel so anxious, stupid as I run the risk of being really poorly if I caught the virus. I have a habit of having bad reactions to some medications, antibiotics, aspirin is deadly

The importance of vitamin B6 against Parkinson's. The end of a meaningless prejudice since 1975.

Low dose aspirin from day of transfer
I had a consultation with a private clinic today to see if there was anything else I could add in to my next transfer. I enquired about low dose aspirin (75mg) and he said I can take it from the day of transfer. My clinic don’t recommend it until 6 weeks as apparently it can lead to implantation failure

Anyone use Aspirin?
Hello ladies - I was reading that a small daily dose of aspirin might help with this dreaded disease we are afflicted with. Does anyone use it or sought medical advice on it or is it just an old wives tale? Lots of Love - Yvonne

Dispersible aspirin
I would be interested to learn whether any members have been prescribed dispersible aspirin and whether they take anything other than omeprazole as protection for the stomach. Many thanks for any information.

Gout and MPN
I have PV had ET which progressed to PV. I was doing ok and I do see an MPN Specialist. About a week ago my foot was red and swollen right across where all my toes are and hurt. It swells up if I'm on it and it is very painful to walk. I'm starting to think Gout. I do not eat rich foods but I did

Anybody ever heard anything like this before ?
I have been a poor sleeper all my life mainly due to working shifts amongst other things. About 5 years ago I started to have severe night-time heart palpitations which only happened when I went to bed (as if I already wasn't a poor sleeper) these have made my life miserable. I have had every investigation

Third Transfer, Third Chemical Pregnancy. Any advice on next steps?
My third transfer (and first FET) has, unfortunately, turned out to be yet another chemical miscarriage. Here is a quick overview of my journey so far: IVF1: Fresh transfer, 5 day blastocyst - Chemical pregnancy at 4 weeks (on two pessaries a day). IVF2: Fresh transfer, 5 day blastocyst - Chemical pregnancy

Mini stroke
Hi everyone, if you’ve been following my dads story. You know that he’s off the ventilator and that he had his trach removed. His voice is slowly coming back. He moves his left side, his foot and arms and hand. He right side is very, very weak. Because of this, they decided to do a ct scan where they

ET mental impact/symptoms
Hello to all. I am a 49y.o. male, diagnosed with ET (JAK2+) about a month ago (January 2021). Platellets have been relatively stable over 450k (460k-503k) for at least 7yrs now, but otherwise healthy, fit, calm and not taking any medication, so my GP never said that this could be an indication of something

Understanding the vaccine priority
Am I correct in thinking that having had a heart attack and a stent and being 63yrs old, that this will place me in priority group 6 ‘16 - 64yrs - with underlying health conditions? I have always thought it did. I ask your advice on this as my 58yr old sister with no underlying conditions, lives in

Thapsigargin
Thapsigargin is an antiviral medicine that the University of Nottingham has found effective against a number of viruses including the covid. Boy, I tell you, the UK is really on the ball. I read about this on a place called SciTechDaily. The more treatments found, the better. Meanwhile here in the USA
