I am 69 and was diagnosed approximately 4 months ago with locally advanced Ductal Adenocarcinoma of the Prostate, Gleason 8, with seminal vessel involvement. I've been on Eligard for 3 months and had blood tests yesterday but I don't have any results to share yet. I also had a CT SIM yesterday in preparation

Phizer Vaccine - has anyone had any side effects with any medications that MPN patients take such as HU, blood thinners?
I go for my first dose of the phizer vaccine tomorrow and noticed that many people have received their first jab already with minimal side effects. I asked my MPN care team if they knew of any side effects with the medications we take and they said there is not enough clinical data to know. Overall

Possible side-effects of medication?
I've been suffering from various "cold" symptoms for months now; cough, runny eyes, sore throat, occasional difficulty breathing, etc, etc in various combinations, and there's no sign it's going to go away anytime soon. My GP suggested an allergy but I don't think it is; a pharmacist said I should ask

Vaccine distribution is going well. However, until there is stronger evidence it will control the outbreak there is no harm in reminding ourselves the only way to be sure is to limit contact with others. The government's slogan "behave as if you have the virus" should be "behave as if everyone you

Starting Adt
Again hello from Sweden! My husband is now starting Trelstar, every 6 month. He has already started Casodex 50 mg. He has got cardiac problems, stents. Currently he is taking Broccomax, but also baby Aspirin and a statin. Is it advisable for him to add Natto now? What about K2D3? Thinking of ADT worsening

3rd transfer UNlucky - time to do something different?
Another BFN today. This journey is the most unfair. I wanted to see whether anyone who has also continued to have failed cycles has done anything differently? My consultant keeps saying it’s down to luck and as I have unexplained infertility they don’t recommend any other tests. “Just keep transferring

Dental surgery post heart attack
I suffered a heart attack in April 2020 and upon discharge was prescribed, amongst other medications, the anti-platelet ticagrelor; I was already taking another blood thinner (aspirin). Next week I am due to undergo a tooth extraction at my local dental surgery and my dentist has requested that I stop

Which Vaccine Group?
I am 64 which would normally place me in vaccination Group 7. However in December 2020 I had a confirmed NSTEMI heart attack out of the blue. Although I had an echocardiogram and an angiogram, both were considered normal. I’m waiting for a Cardiac MRI for further investigation as an outpatient

Coming off Ticagrelor
I had heart attack in 2017 and had a stent inserted. In August 2021 I will have been taking Ticagrelor for 4 years without problems (only bruising at times) and also 75mg of Aspirin daily. I am really concerned as the time gets closer to stopping it, do I just stop it I’ve read people can have heart
