obviously I’m Googling the hell out of do’s and don’ts after transfer and I keep reading that baby aspirin is good for implantation? Il copy and paste statement from google...
taking just 81 mg of aspirin daily may boost a woman's likelihood of conception by reducing systemic inflammation, improving the environment in which an embryo grows.
What do you guys think?
Worth running to the pharmacy???

Aspirin is an interesting one.. my gynaecologist advised that if I were to fall pregnant again, to immediately start taking baby aspirin (75mg) a day. After my transfer, I asked my consultant if I should start taking it and she said no, that it’s not proven to help 🤷🏻♀️
But my consultant doesn’t seem interested in tests such as ERA or embryo glue etc. So maybe that’s just her view point. Her view point is that it comes down to the quality of the egg and luck.
You could pick some up, and ask your doctor if you think you need it? I’ve heard that pineapple core also has a similar affect I.e reduces inflammation and encourages blood flow to the uterus (and it’s healthy) so could maybe try that?
Thank you, it’s so difficult isn’t it! I told myself I wouldn’t google this time but I can’t help myself. My consultant is the same! I would love to pay extra for embryo glue but they say they don’t believe in it.
Hi there, I was on baby aspirin to help with increased blood flow to the uterus my first FET cycle. I took them from the start of my cycle till I got to 9-10 weeks of pregnancy.
Before you get on them, you might want to ask your doctor if it’s ok start taking them close to transfer. Wishing you the best with your transfer ! Xx
Some consultants recommend taking it others dont - the specialist at my recurrent miscarriage clinic actually said NOT to as it can actually cause miscarriage if you take it without having a medical need? Aspirin isn’t the same as blood thinning medication like clexane which is routinely given as part of an IVF protocol
I have aggressive nk cells and my recurrent miscarriage specialist put me on aspirin as park of my treatment, alongside many other drugs... The combination of everything resulted in my current pregnancy. I think aspirin alone won't stop miscarriages or assist solely in implantation, but it can definitely support the process if prescribed for the right reasons. The only thing to be mindful of, if you do self-prescribe, is not to take it 5 dsys leading up to egg collection as it can cause you to bleed more heavily and could put your life at risk x
I asked my clinic if I can take it, they were hesitatnt and in the end my consultant agreed and said 'it won't increase any risks'. I would get your consultant's advice and go ahead and not self prescribe. Good luck, it's definitely worth trying whilst working with your specialist! X
