Urachal Cyst? Umbilical Hernia? No, it's Endometriosis.
I went to my pediatrician who suggested it was an
umbilical
hernia
and to keep my core strong and exercise and the pain should subside. It wasn't so bad so I just went on thinking that's what it was. Finally in my early 20s the pain started getting worse and more frequent.

CLL and appendectomy
Hi, I have CLL and am currently on watch and wait. I had an appendectomy on Friday, the symptoms of which appeared along with a very enlarged, fluid-filled lymph node. It was in the region of a hernia repair that was done last January, so that's what I thought it was at first. I didn't have typical

Reflux and gum problems
Hey I thought I had got rid of my reflux problem only to be told that my teeth are eroding and I have gum disease. My heartburn and stomach ache have recently returned though. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also I had a endoscopy just over a year ago and that was fine, just a small inflammation

Hernia op cancelled.
Hello, First time on here but wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience. I was due to have an inguinal hernia repair today with a LA. My anxiety levels shot through the roof whilst on the way listening to reports of the 'Richshaw Challenge' diverting to Boston Marketplace just before my op

Endo & Hernia Repair Surgery
Hi there, I have an
umbilical
hernia
likely caused by 9 laporoscopic surgeries (for endo) and two pregnancies. It is causing me increasing discomfort although I am hesitant to have the repair surgery due to the (rare but still occurring) complications the mesh can cause.
