Endo & Hernia Repair Surgery

Hi there,

I have an umbilical hernia likely caused by 9 laporoscopic surgeries (for endo) and two pregnancies. It is causing me increasing discomfort although I am hesitant to have the repair surgery due to the (rare but still occurring) complications the mesh can cause. I am also concerned about if Endo could grow on the mesh and what the implications would be (a quick Google has suggested this can happen).

Does anyone have any experience with this? I am seeing a hernia consultant privately however from my last appointment he was certainly no expert in Endo.
