I post this the other day here and was suggested I go to the cholesterol site (not helpful) they don't get the thyroid connection with Cholestrol and after I was done I felt like I ate myself to this horrible cholesterol...lol I alway had high cholesterol levels even when I weighed 120 pounds anyway

Lupus/APS and cod liver oil
Hi, I'm 49, and have lupus with antiphospholipid syndrome. I'm currently on lifelong warfarin, statins, vit D, hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate injections. The inflammatory arthritis is very painful, would cod liver oil be safe to take with anticoagulants? I think the oil would help with the inflammation

Can statin side effects occur six months after starting?
I have been taking 80mg atorvastatin for 7 months, since having HA and two stents fitted. I have had chest discomfort since HA but recently I have had extremely itchy arms and legs which I have scratched to a point of bleeding! I have also been experiencing muscle twitches/pulsating in the top of both

My Post PVI ablation horrors take a turn for the better!
I’ve read so many experiences that people have kindly shared with the community of fellow sufferers that I felt compelled to share my own, and hope that it is of some help to anybody who has PAF and wondering about undergoing an ablation or maybe if you are recovering from one! I’m a pretty fit 61 year

Angina, always normal cholesterol - hereditary
Diagnosed with heart disease in January and after initial denial and shock now trying to answer questions. I have read that 25% of people with heart disease have no aggravating lifestyle choices and I count myself in that group. Docs have put me on statin, GTN and Monomil and I can now walk the 1/2 mile

Help with blood results please
Help with these results please. I have Hashimoto’s, been unwell for many years. Now on alternate 50mcg/75mcg Levothyroxine. Cholesterol has gone back up again, Endo wanted familial hyperlipidemia test as not overweight and have good diet, can’t go owing to carona. My doc said statins May be a problem

Blurred Vision/Atorvastatin?
I have been noticing an intermittent problem with my vision over the past few weeks, maybe a bit longer. In mainly one eye I sometimes get blurred vision, sometimes it is almost like there is a little cloud over the word I am looking at, with the surrounding ones clearer although still a bit blurred,
