Hormonal imbalance
I honestly don’t know if this is the right place to put this but I don’t know where it would fall under I want to know if anyone has had bad experiences while on the pill and once they go off the pill cause I feel like birth control has completely messed up my body I went on the pill when I was 14

Preparing for a new chapter
Hello everyone, I’m not use to being on forums but I feel so lost and alone, I don’t know who else to turn to. I’m 28 years old and the oldest daughter of my family. We recently found out my mom (52) is at her end stage of renal disease. She just had a catheter inserted to prepare for Peritoneal Dialysis

Low FODMAP and Food combining may help IBS
I have never been properly tested for IBS but a nurse at my GP surgery said she thought I had IBS and advised me to go on a low FODMAP diet. She also prescribed Mebeverine, to be taken 20 minutes before each meal. I followed her advice for 3 months but still suffered quite bad belly aches sometimes -

Giving myself a month's holiday from bisphosphonates
I've been on Risedronate less than a year. Because of other pre-existing health issues, worsening, I don't know whether that is because of ageing or because of
bisphosphonate side effects I decided to have a month's holiday to find out. But when my best friend (doesn't have op) told me that she

Dental problems
Hi all Hope everyone is well, especially living with this worrying pandemic we find all ourselves in. I've had rheumatoid arthritis for 6yrs now. I am doing quite well at the moment on Benepali injections. Can rheumatoid arthritis affect your mouth ie gums, teeth ect. I had to have 4 back teeth removed

Still sore
OK... So because I didn't do stretches I am very sore after my first run. Today is day 2 of the soreness so I'm hoping it will ease up tomorrow which is when I have planned my second run. If I am still sore do I still go running? I'm assuming I will be much less sore tomorrow but just checking I won't

Dental treatment
I was just about to have a crown put on a molar when the dental surgeries closed because of coronavirus. I spoke by phone to the dentist who said that the temporary crown “should be alright”, but was not very convincing. Does anyone know how long a temporary crown is viable (this crisis could go on

Contraception for patients with migraine with Aura
Hi, I have issues with migraine with aura. So my GP put me on a progesterone-only pill, it's been five months and I'm still having multiple periods a month and I've only had a six day window not bleeding so far. I want to try a different contraceptive method but I'm afraid I'll just react in the same
