OK... So because I didn't do stretches I am very sore after my first run. Today is day 2 of the soreness so I'm hoping it will ease up tomorrow which is when I have planned my second run. If I am still sore do I still go running?

I'm assuming I will be much less sore tomorrow but just checking I won't injure myself by going out while I'm still sore.

Also - what are the best stretches to do after the run?

Also - I'm working from home and stuck to my computer all day so I'm not finding it easy to get up and move about as much as I'd like so find myself getting sort after long periods of sitting down 🙈

I wouldn’t run if you feel sore. Your muscles need time to recover. Have a walk instead as that’s really good for you too. There are some stretches on the nhs website that are recommended for before and after running. I’ll try & post the link 😀

Thank you. I'm hoping I won't be sore tomorrow but I might just give it an extra day before going run number 2 to be in the safe side. Thank you for the link
