Hello everyone, I am new here. I finally found the courage I needed to join a network for the hard truth I’ve been denying to myself - I need support. Those three words have been a silent cry for help... words only said to myself during trying times with the love of my life, a USMC veteran. While I’m

What are some of the best Supplements to start off with? Maybe just 1-2.
Hello Everyone. I've managed to finally convince my dad to start supplements. He is currently only on Lupron and has no other health issues. He already takes Calcium and Multi-Vitamin daily. (Prescribed by doc). I'd now like to add more. Any suggestions on which supplements can we start with if we

Has anyone had hepatic artery narrowing?
Dear All, I am back here again absolutely dumbfounded. My husband had a chance CT scan which revealed narrowing of the artery join to the aorta (he had an aneurysm repaired some years ago). The team decided to get him in for a stent. Well, after a lot of deliberation and and hesitation. They did not

Colonoscopy with AF and ICD?
I've had several colonoscopies with AF and sedation, with no problems at all. But now - I have an ICD. Is an EP by protocol required to be present to switch it on and off before and after? If so, that must mess up their schedules badly.

Receiving monthly Avastin injections now 5 days past due and I notice a decrease in vision
Being treated for CNV. Somehow, I was given a 5 week follow up form my next injection so instead of receiving my scheduled 4 week injection last week, I will get it this week. My vision was getting better and I was able to read things I couldn't read before. Yesterday my vision wasn't nearly as good

Does Xarelto cause an increase in heart rate?
My cardiologist switched my anticoagulant a week ago from Pradaxa to Xarelto. The day after I started, my heart rate increased from around 60-70 to 90-100. Although my heart rate has increased occasionally since my afib diagnosis, it usually settles back to normal with an extra dose of flecainide but

Blood clots and urticarial vasculitis syndrome
Hello everyone. I hope you are all feeling as well as can be. Looking for any advice!
Hi about 5 weeks ago I started with a change in my bowel habits, it could go from not being able to go to needing to get to the loo as fast as I can! It’s usually worse when I first wake up in the morning and then later at night! It’s driving me crazy! This probably all started when I was nearly due

The pain is not crazy but it’s persistent. I’m about to go the hospital to get it checked out because i’m terrified
