Mebeverine

Hi all.

I’ve recently started taking mebeverine.

Has anyone else had feelings of headache and tingling on the scalp?

I may have to change my medicine if so. It’s horrible

Hello,I take mebeverine when I have a flare up and didn't think it had any side affects on me but,reading your question,I had that funny feeling on my scalp,like something was in my hair it felt strange but not painful. I never considered that it could be the medication as I haven't felt that sensation since and had forgotten about it until you mentioned it. Maybe it does affect some people this way,but no headaches for me. Hope this helps you

Glad to hear that Ash,using new medication is always a challenge,I hope it settles down for you,but if headaches continue I would go back to doctor,and find something else that might suit you better

Hi girlafraid it is and I am seeing a neurologist on Monday so hopefully get it sorted. This was for something else but I’ll mention it

Heya I've been taken off of mebeverine because it wasn't helping but i did notice an increase in headaches despite being hydrated but i never thought to question the medication.

I've now been put on buscopan and its a lot better so it may be worth asking your doc to change it. I remember my doc said that mebeverine doesn't work for everyone so don't be disheartened that it doesnt work for you.
