It seems to me that most people here have had one or multiple Ablations of one type or another.
I have had PAF and Flutters now for over one year. I'm 71 years old and my Cardiologists have never recommended a CardioVersion or Ablation of any type here in the Toronto Canada region. The last time I met with my main Cardiologist he told me CardioVersion is next to useless and Ablations are not far

Blood thinner meds causing unbearable PMR swelling and pain
Diagnosed with PMR after back surgery 2.5 years ago. Also had deep vein thrombosis, and again after hip replacement a year ago. Tried Xarelto and Eliquis and both caused intolerable pain and immobility within two days. Had to stay in rehab for 3 weeks after hip surgery to force myself to stay on warfarin

Warfarin (Coumadin) Success?
I'm currently on Xarelto, but investigating whether or not folks who take Warfarin/Coumadin get relief from APS-associated symptoms -- like tinnitis, memory issues, joint pain or halting the progression of mitral valve disease.

False labor
Last night I had false contractions for around 3 hours with very mild pain. My waters didn’t break and I didn’t have a show, however when I called the hospital they told me to just keep an eye on the timing and didn’t want me to come in just yet. Eventually I took some paracetamol and drifted off to

Pre-clinical Expression of MPN?
Question for you all, I was catching up with my cardiologist yesterday as I had an MI (heart attack) 4 yrs ago. Back then we can see that my blood numbers were normal and he assumed at the time that the cause was a vasospasm (only 20-30% plaque was found during an angiogram). The question he posed

Muscle Twitching
Hi, Just a quick question. I am 5 months into recovering from a brain abscess which required a burr hole aspiration. I have a number of ongoing symptoms, although most are not debilitating. A new thing that seems to have sprung up over the last few days is muscle twitching around my eye area, particularly

New cause of COVID-19 blood clots identified.
Blood clots continue to wreak havoc for patients with severe COVID-19 infection, and a new study explains what may spark them in up to half of patients. The culprit: an autoimmune antibody that’s circulating in the blood, attacking the cells and triggering clots in arteries, veins, and microscopic vessels

Me, Again!
I'm really struggling, feeling really emotional and really wanting some reassurance, but I know that maybe no one can tell me what I'd love to hear. My beloved partner, who has had pretty much everything go wrong, is now post his last surgery 15 weeks (13th July) he spent 10 days in an induced coma and
