Hysterectomy recovery tips
Hello ladies. I'm one of the lucky ones to finally have surgery, unfortunately for me a hysterectomy was my only choice left. I know it might not be the end of endo but I've made my peace with it and anything to try and have less pain, I'll do it. Anyway, it's almost been a week and the pain is starting

If you had a hysterectomy and/or oophorectomy- what was the trigger?
Hi, I have an appointment next week and try to anticipate what might be coming and prepare questions. It will be my first gynae appointment but I already have the MRI scan results via my GP. I have recto vaginal endo, my pouch of Douglas is full, I have DIE along my uterosacral ligaments, tethering

Advice needed post total knee replacement
Hi. I had total left knee replacement surgery on 5th May with lymphedema in the same leg (I have it bilaterally in legs, hands and arms) Since surgery I developed cellulitis that Dr's did not accept and treat until 2 weeks afterwards. I now have an itchy rash around my knee scar. Any advice greatfully

Why am I getting burning abdo pain nearly 12 months post surgery for ovarian cancer ( hysterectomy, omentum,BSO and node removal
I am 12 months post surgery and completed chemo for bilateral ovarian cancer. It was stage 1 C. This pain was present immediately post op and improved but now has recurred. It’s an odd burning pain. Is this common and if so what causes it and what can I do to treat it?

Pros and cons of voluntary hysterectomy?
I have been going through early menopause since 2017, over this time I have tried a variety of HRT without much success at dealing with the symptoms. I have just begun another variation and am going to give it a chance for a few months to assess properly but wanted to gain some info about alternatives

Endo untreatable, hysterectomy advised
Hi. I’m new to this forum (although probably should have joined years ago). I was diagnosed with endo in 2006. It was treated and for years I was ok. But in 2013/2014 I started getting significant pain again. I saw a new specialist (thankfully through private health insurance through my work or would

Violin string adhesions
Hi, I had a hysterectomy 20 years ago after 2 years of a lot of pain. The gynecologist said its fibroids. When they operated they found my abdomen was all stuck together with what he described as violin string adhesions. I made a quick and good recovery then 2 months later I became really unwell,

Improvement in ferritin levels but feel even worse.
I have struggled with low iron for some time. After being contacted on here about the possible effects of taking turmeric on iron levels I decided to stop the supplement and see if my iron levels improved. I have messed this up by eating more liver than previously because I wanted to add T3 to my liquid

Prostap before hysterectomy
A question on prostap..... I’ve seen my specialist again today, after lap and MRI it has been decided a full hysterectomy is my best way forward. I have to start prostap injections for 6 months before she will operate. Just looking for some advice on how you’ve felt during prostap? What to expect

Decapeptyl & HRT
Hi All So I started HRT just over a week ago as addback therapy while I am on Decapeptyl injections. I was experiencing hot flushes and low mood which have improved but over the last 24/48 hours my endo pains are back with a vengeance and have started a period like bleed. I had been pain free since
