Has anyone their endo return after a full hysterectomy?
I had a full hysterectomy back in July including ovaries. The endo had also spread to my bowel. Although I wasn't told specifically, the surgeon said my op went well and so I assumed that all the endo had been removed. The past week or so I've been getting some familiar pains back in my lower stomach

Is anyone able to help with my mum’s labs please
Hello all, She has Hashimoto’s which is well managed on glandulars and she feels well. Her thyroid labs are a little on the low side this time because she reduced her dose significantly having felt over-medicated previously but has since increased it slightly and hopes her next labs are better. Pain relief

Anyone had Decapeptyl injections and no change in symptoms/no menopause onset?
I’m about to have my fifth decapeptyl injection to manage heavy bleeding with fibroids and nothing has changed, in fact possibly worse. Bleeding consistently since August with some flooding after 3rd injection. No menopause symptoms. Had add back tibolone HRT from the start but stopped 2 weeks ago

Dosage Change needed? Can you help
Hi All. It’s been some time and was doing well. Dosage had been more or less consistent and feeling well until now. I am taking in split doses 2 grains of NDT and 25mcg of T3. Started to put on weight and feeling a bit moody. Took bloods and results are as follows:- TSH- 0.005 (0.27-4.2) ; T3 - 4.39

Pain after Hysterectomy
Hi ladies, I got diagnosed with Endometriosis and Adenomyosis earlier this year (although I suffer since I was 12). I've quickly decided to do the Hysterectomy as I don't want more kids. It's 2 months and 1 day today since the surgery but I still have pelvic pain, "period like" pain and also no excitement

Non-surgical consultant recommendations
I have been referred to Worcester NHS for help with my endo. I have been triaged as non-urgent (despite being unable to walk for the last 10 days) and apparently that means at least a year for an initial appointment. I am thinking of paying privately because I just can't cope with this for another

Hysterectomy and ovary removal plus excision of endometriosis- recovery tips please!!!
Hello all ❤ I had my surgery on Thursday. Does anyone have any advice to help me recover fully and well? (I'm already using estrogen patches and gel so I don't get a hormone deficiency). Endo was in uterus, ovaries and pelvis, plus on bowel. It's been a huge 23 slog, taking 20 years to get an endo diagnosis

Severe Endometriosis, Hysterectomy and Bowel Resection
Have you had a bowel resection or were you at risk of one?? Please read. ♥️ 💛 So, nearly 26 years of extreme period pain, bleeding heavily, anaemia and impact on life.. was finally heard in 2017 when my endometrioma showed up and caused enough pain (so we knee stage 4 endometriosis). Prior to this

Post-hysterectomy
Hi! I am 4 days post op following my hysterectomy - this was successfully carried out laparoscopicly and my tubes, uterus and cervix were taken. With the exception of one being adhered to something, my ovaries looked relatively healthy so I kept them. For anyone due to have a hysterectomy in the future
