You'd probably need to give a bit more information before you'll get an answer about what's normal in your situation, but I'll give you the advice I'd give anyone who's not happy with a medical situation, you have the right to ask for a second opinion. You don't have to just accept what one doctor tells you as gospel and you can ask for further tests or a second opinion. Hope that helps
