Morning ladies I am just soooo relieved, after 7ish (hellish) years feeling that endo has returned and no doctor believing me as I had a full hysterectomy ovaries gone also so they all said it was not possible even the colorectal surgeon, I have done all my research written 2 page's a4 size paper of lots of things I have found out about on this extremely valuable site,I took it to a new doctor at my gp,s just handed my findings over to him he totally agreed with all I had written and is now referring me to a B.S.G.E hospital,he didn't know anything about these specialists,it is the first he has heard about it and he is going to maybe help other ladies with endo now he knows, so a great big hug to you warriors for all your help and research and support I cried all the way home with the relief of FINALLY being believed by a doctor I am so happy ☺ Thank you to you all 😍😍

I'm not surprised you cried all the way home, your emotions must have been all over the place. Seven years is a long time.So glad you've finally been listened to. Too many Dr's think a hysterectomy solves all!!

Really think they should look at this forum, like you it's been a great help to me as well.

Good idea to take notes to give to them

Fingers crossed referral doesn't take too long

Take care

Thank you is all I can say. I consider myself extremely lucky that my GP is a young female doctor who spotted the signs before I had to wait anywhere near as long as you did for a diagnosis. It's people like you and all the warriors in this forum that are making people (doctors) sit up and listen xx
