I haven’t posted for awhile. I was finally diagnosed with stage 2 endometriosis in august 2021 after 9 years of suffering. Pain and bleeding just got worse after the lap. Heavy bleeds for up to 30 days.
I’ve tried combined pills, mini pills, coil etc and nothing helps. I bleed and bleed and bleed. I have been on Zoladex twice but came off it due to side effects and have now agreed to try Prostap. I had the Prostap last Monday (first dose) and the day after I started to bleed. I am still bleeding now. The most heaviest bleeding I have ever experienced. The pain has been horrendous to the point I passed out at work last week because of it. I’m getting horrendous migraines with flashing lights and seeing stars and also dizziness and vomiting.
I’ve begged for a hysterectomy as I am 101% sure that’s what I want/need but as I’m 24 they won’t touch me. I don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t want to be on Prostap and I want my bleeding gone forever.
I am due to speak with a specialist nurse on Friday about my bleeding.
I’ve just given up fighting, I feel that nobody listens to me or cares about my suffering and I know that so many other ladies with endo are in this position to!😔
Thank you for listening to my rambling! Xx

Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear about all your bleeding 😣 Hang in there and don't give up looking for help. It's truly exhausting to fight for help when your already so weak and tired but its really worth it to find a good doc that cares and is willing to stick through it with you to find answers! They're hard to find, I've left many appointments in tears and felt like giving up, but good docs are out there! So if the ones you are seeing aren't good then keep looking for another. I hope you get some help love
Hi, I would advise ask your doctor for a referral to the nearest bsge centre as they specialise in gynaecology and since I have been referred to one I have been listened to in depth and treated like a human instead of being tossed aside. I really hope you get some help soon and I am sorry for your situation. Unfortunately hysterectomy is not a cure for endometriosis, I know a lady who is on operation number 8 after her hysterectomy. I’m not sure why you are bleeding so much I’ve never heard of this before with endo but that alone surely warrants further investigation. Good luck hope you get sorted soon xx
