Help with results and GP recommendations
I have been struggling with Hashimoto since 2016 probably undiagnosed for a long time. My TSH results at the GP have always been around 3-4 and the GP always said your results are in range but I was feeling knackered. I have seen a few a functional medicine doctors over the years while they have helped

Hashi's Flare? Lab Results Help
Hello! About a month ago, I had worked my way up to 45 mg of NP Thyroid. I felt okay but not great. I started working on my vitamin levels and cracking down on gluten again. At the same time, I went through a few weeks of severe stress, which suddenly led about a week of feeling what I would describe

Armour or the single pill - hair loss
Hi Has anyone got Hashimotos and tried Armour or been on the progesterone only pill? As about three months ago I went from NP to Armour NDT as my TSH was nearly 4.5 taking 1.5 grains of NP (I have always taken 1.5 of WP and done ok on this) But then at the same time I also changed from the depo injection

New bloods - confused about iron study outcomes
Good afternoon Fabulous people – hoping for your wisdom again. I had new bloods on 10th June (8 week check on levo dosage). I knew that the NHS bloods wouldn’t test FT3 and FT4 (even though they were specifically requested on the form by the GP). I ordered a medichecks test to test these privately.

No information about Hysterectomy
I’m due to have a hysterectomy but have not had any information or discussion how this surgery is to take place or what to expect or how to prepare and how to aid recovery. Is this normal? I have conducted my own research and watched all possible procedures so I am fully aware about the different procedures

Living with Endo.
I was in extreme pain every month crippled on the floor, unable to move. My condition was missed for years by the doctors who refused to believe there was anything wrong with me, in extreme pain for three weeks out of four I eventually got an ultrasound scan which picked up a large mass. I saw a gynaecologist

What next?
I’ve just gotten my blood results back. My ferritin is 155ng/ml. My transferrin is 2.7g/l. My transferrin saturation is 40.4 % My legs are really acting up at night, I will wake constantly, 2 hours sleep max in any stretch. I’m slow to go the medication route just yet, what would you guys suggest

Amlodipine Besylate 5mg. for BP
I did 6 rounds of chemo, & had Hysterectomy for clear cell ovarian cancer. Now I'm ongoing treatment with Avastin. As you know Avastin has one side effect that is high blood pressure, which I am experiencing. I have never had high blood pressure in my entire life, but now must go on Amlodipine Besylate

Follow-up post lap appointment
So basically my consultant has told me not only did he remove a large amount of endometriosis and then showed me the pictures of it all, he also found while in there that I have Adenomyosis - I have never heard of this before today! Feeling very upset and confused as he told me it can reduce fertility

Ovary removal only
Hi 👋 I’m new here. Hoping I can get some insight. I have had about 9 months of prostap injections and found my endo/ adeno pain improved so much. A couple of months ago I started HRT to go with the prostap and have found my pain has increased a bit. From what I’ve read this is fairly normal with endo

Nervous surgeon etc
In June 1951 I was doing School Certificate exams, meanwhile my mother age 51 had a hysterectomy operation. Afternoon, day of the op hospital rang school to say that her heart was failing and I should get to hospital as soon as possible. Fortunately I had enough pocket money for the two bus fares.

13 days post op 😁
Hi all, So I'm now 13 days post full hysterectomy and removal of endo and apart from a sore buttock I'm feeling the best I've felt in a long time 🥳 I cant believe what a difference it's made, I'm still taking the odd paracetamol and blood thinners (only 2wks left of them!) but apart from that I'm off

Endo surgery?
Hello all, I was diagnosed with endometriosis in October, seen consultant at beginning of month and told the only treatment for me left is surgery. I’m in constant pain….
