Amlodipine Besylate 5mg. for BP

I did 6 rounds of chemo, & had Hysterectomy for clear cell ovarian cancer. Now I'm ongoing treatment with Avastin. As you know Avastin has one side effect that is high blood pressure, which I am experiencing. I have never had high blood pressure in my entire life, but now must go on Amlodipine Besylate 5 mg for it. Has anyone else taken this Med during Avastin treatment, & what was your experience on it. Yes I had it no problems it reduced BP down to norm quickly no side effects. No alcohol no st John's wort no grapefruit while on drug. Hugs from paris

Thank you Ruebacelle , I am praying that I have your experience on Avastin, & Amlodipine. I've never had high blood pressure in my entire life, & I am hoping when my treatment with Avastin is over, it goes back to normal. Blessings to you!

Yes I have taken it with the same chemo. No problems. I had high blood pressure as well. Highest ever 185/80
