feeling very down
hi all, I posted on here some weeks ago when I felt that the combination of infliximab infusions and leflunomide was no longer working and I was hopeful my rheumatologist would change my medication. I live in Guernsey so only see her occasionally when she flies across. I honestly don’t feel like anyone

Do I need to take Alendronate?
Hi everyone, I Got the results of my DEXA bone scan, and I'm not sure if I need to be on Alendronate. (My rheumy prescribed it to me before these results came in, just saying "since you're going to be on steroids long term you need it.") Can someone tell me if the numbers below warrant me being on

Hi there, I'm 38 year old active, fit woman. I've been diagnosed with severe cervical stenosis at c6-7 with radiculopathy. Have had symptoms for 20+ years not realising what it was. Then last summer after having an appendectomy and 3 weeks rest, the pain behind left shoulder blade and in neck flared

Lack of understanding of PMR and prescribing Prednisolone
I’m posting this link (written by a PMR patient in the USA) mainly in response to JMT_hiker’s recent post. Reaching out.
Hello. This may be familiar to others, I commiserate, and appreciate any tips/insights. I am struggling with moderate/severe COPD with asthma overlap, which can be awkward to treat, as reacting to tree pollen. Using Trelegy at present, as experience reduction in horrible wet wheeze. Have rescue packs

Hello & help! Tocilizumab or Baricitinib?
hello, I’ve had RA for 10yrs, I’m 47 and this is the first forum I’ve joined, I’m battle weary, in a lot of pain, frightened and feeling the least optimistic I’ve ever felt since diagnosis. I know everyone reacts differently to each drug but I’m just looking for some hope… Had Etanercept circa 8yrs

Supra Ventricular Ectopy
For the last two to three weeks, I've been having a lot of PACS. Prior to that, I haven't had much of any irregular beats for the last six months. These episodes last for hours, (until my PIP kicks in) and have a high frequency, up to every other beat. I've had two ablations and currently don't take

I started on Prednisone November 11 2021. The diagnosis was probable GCA. I remember writing a post on here detailing how crazy/busy my life. 101 things on the go at the same time. I received lots of replies about needing to slow down etc. At the time I had no idea just how much I would need to slow

help me to understand
hi. My father has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. They have said that he is too weak for any interventional treatments. They have told him that they will give him two or three rounds of radiation to stem the bleeding , and he has steroids and antibiotics and will have a supply of oxygen at home
