This is my first IVF cycle, on 9dp3dt of a fresh embryo. Have been feeling good up until now, although a little tired but now have gone from severe constipation to diarrhoea and vomiting (weirdly the last 2 mornings at 4am/4:30am). Every part of me aches and I’m struggling to eat with the nausea. I’m on 6 cyclogest a day, 1 progesterone shot a day, x2 Clexane injections a day and 20mg steroids a day. It might just be my body going into a bit of a meltdown! Has anyone else had this?
Thanks for your support <3

Heaps of luck with your cycle, whilst I have had some tummy issues with progesterone the fact you are aching etc sounds more like you have got a bug rather than it being IVF related. Try and stay hydrated and eat when you can. If you are worried you could call your clinic for advice. Hope you feel better soon x
I’m sorry you’re feeling so ill. I’m in the same drugs but less than you and feel crap on and off. Tired and nauseous, struggling to sleep. Aching sounds more like you’re coming down with something. Drink lots and maybe worth calling the clinic. Good luck x
It does sound like a bug but as you’ve had a fresh transfer I would phone your clinic as naseau can also be a sign of OHSS. I hope you feel better soon and good luck for test day xx
oh dear! Sounds horrid! It does sounds like it might be a mix of meds and a bug! Definitely stay hydrated and rest lots. Do call your clinic to be sure it’s nothing serious too (like the OHSS suggested above). but just to let you know that I got a nasty bug with my last transfer - horrendous flu that lasted aaaages and I’m looking at my miracle twins right now! It doesn’t mean it won’t work. So try not to worry too much. Wishing you all the luck! Xx
Thank you so much for your responses. I ended up going into the clinic twice as things got worse. Turns out I have an infection, hopefully will all be cleared up with some antibiotics. 🥰
