Reynauds AND a nerve tumour ....
Well, this is great, apart from having Reynauds, which I was born with, plus squamous cell carcinomas on my legs, I now have a quite rare tumour, called a schwannoma. I had it cut out, ( painful, because it grows within the nerve sheath ).... Because of compromised circulation , massive sepsis occurred

I'm a little teapot!
Thought I'd give you all a giggle and show you my 'I'm a little teapot' cast which I was in for 4 months a couple of years ago. The funniest thing was that DLA application which included this photo was refused on the basis that I didn't need any help with personal care, I could make a meal and I didn't

Thoughts on my blood tests
Hi everyone, I have posted recently - I am currently undiagnosed, but due to a doctor who is unsympathetic, I am paying to see a Cons Endo recommended on here in a few weeks. My main issues: severe migratory pain, fatigue, feeling cold, poor memory and lack of ability to co-ordinate my thoughts.

Night Time
Morning Everyone, I've been going through a fairly 'quiet' period after having my skin graft and being off work for 5 weeks over the festive period and I think the rest did me a world of good. One symptom I have in varying degrees which is quite bothersome is very stiff and clicking joints of a night

Hi All, Had my skin graft on Wednesday and all appears to be going well with little pain from the graft or donor site.. I do think the surgery has brought on a flare tho as I'm having hot flushes back / kidney pains along with fuzzy head / slight dizziness. I am off work on total rest anyway so hopefully

Is it possible to go overactive on levothyroxine?
Hi everyone, I am currently on 100 mg of Levo after routine thyroid bloods 12 weeks ago (still in 1st year of diagnosis) & finding my TSH was up to 14, which is higher than at diagnosis of Hashimotos (have had TPA test so know I have autoimmune thyroiditis or hashis) back in April. Gp upped my dosage

HASHIMOTO’S HELP PLEASE!! Should I increase or decrease my levothyroxine? Or what should I do?!!
I really don’t know what to do and my GP admits to being clueless. I am waiting for an endocrinology appointment but in the meantime would really appreciate some advice. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism and started on Levothyroxine in June 2014. Started on 50mcg, increased every 3 weeks

The misery compounds.
I now have skin cancers all over skin that was exposed, for the years I lived in South Africa!!!! Most of them requiring skin grafts. Having Raynauds makes healing so slow, they're going septic, and taking months!!!!!!....

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but after reading a few posts I feel at home already, everyone appears so friendly, supportive and clued up on the disease. I was diagnosed a few months ago after being referred to a Rheumatologist with suspected Rheumatoid Arthritis, I already suffer with Osteoarthritis

I was diagnosed with skin cancer approx. 4 years ago and subsequently had 2 minor operations to remove growth's from lip and ear, in the last month I have developed small patches which are very embarrassing, is this to be expected with this complaint, were these to be removed I think a skin graft would
