Results = Confused
ii) Hashimotos
thyroiditis
? iii) Possible inlammation / infection - CRP and elevated ferritin?? iv) Something else? I am T3 only (self medicating with occasional help from Dr P) and don't take iron supplements other than what will be in the multivitamin.

Postpartum thyroiditis
Hi, I was diagnosed with borderline hypothyroidism a few years ago after a nasty virus & was put on levothyroxine. I have been trying to control my levels without much success but after the birth of my 2nd child in April I have been experiencing symptoms of what I believe is overactive thyroid. I understand

Chronic joint pain in feet
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's
Thyroiditis
in Oct 2014 with antibodies off the charts. I also did the adrenal fatigue saliva test and my results were almost flatline, at the bottom. My naturopath (US) put me on 5 mcg of T3 from a compounding pharmacy. I've never been tested for reverse T3.

Return of symptoms after 15 years on T3/T4
recent research that there are other hypothyroid individuals like me who had terrible trouble being introduced to thyroxine (in the end I had to start on 12.5mcg every other day until it eventually built up to the required dose) and awful symtoms of both hypo and hyper and these dreaded night time

After taking 75mcgs levo since 2011,(diagnosed with auto immune
thyroiditis

Prolapsed Mitral Heart Valve
Just read up on it and find its linked to Hashimotos
Thyroiditis
, which I was diagnosed with 21 years ago. I take Sotolol betablockers every day, but I thought they were for anxiety. Going to see NhS endo again, Thurs and wanted to be prepared.

Help with blood results please
As I said above my results from blue horizons indicate autoimmune
thyroiditis
- could this be what is making me feel so ill as my TSH is only borderline?

Should we get our daughters tested?
Reading up on postpartum
thyroiditis
, the effects of which are currently being movingly described by Ameliasmummy, I see that having thyroid antibodies at low levels before pregnancy increases a woman's chances of developing this.

From what i am told he does not not have auto immune
thyroiditis
..this is what his docotor has told him but im not sure what tests have been done. His latest bloods are TSH 10.5 and 13 t4. I am suprised he has not got an auto immune throid problem as he has diabetes 1.
