Hyperthyroid? Hashimoto's? Thyroiditis?
The doctor then called me and said she decided I had temporary
thyroiditis
and it would go away on its own. I don't agree with this, I'm 28 and I've had palpitations, fast heart rate, high cholesterol, constipation and fatigue for at least 10 years!

T3 treatment advice
My thyroid basically got wrecked by a severe autoimmune reaction to a vaccine that caused sudden onset subacute
thyroiditis
(with a hyper phase) followed by a crash in to permanent hypothyroidism so the cause wasn’t originally hashimotos.

Swollen thyroid
(I think he mentioned that he was treating possible
thyroiditis
?) Last week my son started to take the antibiotic and the thyroxine at the same time. For the first few days he suffered terribly with stomach pain, bloating and nausea (side effects of antibiotics?)

Can anyone recommend a good GP for Hashimoto's in the Portsmouth area?
I will be moving to Fareham, Hampshire, next week and I am keen to find a GP that will take my condition (Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
) seriously... If anyone knows of a GP who has a more holistic approach and an interest in autoimmune conditions, please let me know. Many thanks, Helen :)

So fed up being undiagnosed! What is going on with me?
Hi forum, I suffered from postpartum
thyroiditis
after I had my son about 2 years ago. All my thyroid & antibodies levels were messed up when I was diagnosed with it.

Levothyroxine
The endocrinologist thinks it might either be post partum
thyroiditis
or hashimotos. I had a blood test done about 2 weeks ago, and they said that my results were satisfactory. Could the things how I'm feeling be connected to taking the tablets, or that my thyroid is playing up again. Thanks

Vaccines and Hypothyroidism
I was diagnosed with Autoimmune
thyroiditis
about 6 months after having my first Flu vaccine. I have heard that Vaccines may cause autoimmune diseases, is this true/ has anyone else had this experience? Thanks.

Follicular thyroid carcinoma, Hurthle cell variant
Chronic Lymphocytic
thyroiditis
(Hashimoto) was also identified, (of which no one informed me! Thank goodness I asked for the pathology report). A month later I was started on Synthroid 100mcg; levels were checked every 12 weeks.

Have I got Pernicious Anaemia?
I have struggled with Hashimotos
Thyroiditis
since 1994 and requested my B12 be tested last year. My results were at the bottom of the range. My GP said they were normal.

Blood test results- any advice please?
I’ve been told I have
thyroiditis
and blood tests show thyroid antibodies of 422ku/l (0-34) I was under investigation for muscle wasting and have just been diagnosed with Dermatomyositis. The hospital endocrinologist says that my thyroid levels are normal so I don’t need to be seen.
