Need advice on thyroid issues
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s
thyroiditis
in 2019, because of thyroid antibodies being high and with hypothyroidism based on my TSH and T3 and T4 levels. I’ve been taking medication since then, things have been up and down since then.

DIO1 and DIO2 Gene issues
I have no thyroid as such as it has atrophied i.e. atrophic
thyroiditis
. I am still suspicious due to the above condition that my bloods do not reflect what is happening in the cells - am I right ? Many thanks for any help. A

Falsely elevated serum estradiol in woman of reproductive age led to unnecessary intervention and delayed fertility opportunity
Case: A 28-year-old female with pregnancy demand was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
and subclinical hypothyroidism. She was found to have persistently elevated levels of serum estradiol in the early follicular phase (between 527 and 642 pg/mL).

Another paper showing low FT3 in Hashimoto's and poorer QoL as a result
This available paper again addresses the link between low FT3 , poorer quality of life and Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
. The "well controlled" group on T4 only, were presumably designated so by TSH monitoring.

Sick and tired of being sick and tired
I also have a vitamin D deficiency, hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s
thyroiditis
, depression, type 2 diabetes, anxiety and I suspect I have adhd. I am on levothyroxine, metformin, amitriptyline, vitamin D and fluoxetine. I can’t work and had to give up the MSC I was doing last year.

Thyroid Interference test
Can I ask is this test due to the original lab having a problem with their equipment - or are the consultants looking for something else - it is strange that the TSH has not risen and I am suspecting as I mentioned to the consultant - Atrophic
Thyroiditis
- where an antibody blocks the TSH getting into

Poor nail quality
I have always avoided iodine like the plague as it´s said to be bad for people with autoimmune
thyroiditis
. I don´t know if these symptoms are thyroid-related (although they are common in undiagnosed hypothyroidism, and possibly also hyperthyrodism?)
