Perhaps I've posted this already. There's so much coming out now I can't remember but if I haven't posted here is a paper linking low FT3 and Hashimoto's on T4. Downloadable.
Thanks diogenes- going into ‘the season’ so all I can do for time being is save the posts, but I will be printing off and getting my highlighter out when season ends 😊👍
Thank you for posting diogenes. It is good to know that research is now looking at the problem that affects so many of us on here: T3 levels being ignored by many GPs because they are only interested in TSH and ignore symptoms. Pity there were only small numbers of people in the actual research programme, but it's a start. As someone diagnosed with Hypo with raised antibodies and unresolved symptoms and always low in range T3 I could have taken part in the research in the past.
Thanks to this wonderful site I have learned so much, sourced T3 and finally now receive T3 on NHS and feel human again.
Wouldn't it be great if there was more research into low T3 levels and symptoms in UK.
I would love someone to research T3 levels in folks suffering from long Covid!
