Fed Up..
Hi guys. Fed up of having anti-depressants shoved in my face after sitting in with the docs/ counsellors, explaining that they are doing nothing, zilch, jack.... I've gone from Seroxat, Fluoxetine, Mertazipine and now duoxetine. What next? Ovaltine... I see a counsellor. The plus is she has taken a new

Finally a diagnosis 18 months on of psoriatic arthritis which consultant says can be misdiagnosed as sero negative RA
The doctor picked up that I had
tendonitis
but just said it was weird I had it - all this should have been ringing warning bells. I was not asked whether I had pain in my back and I didn’t mention it because I’d had it for years and didn’t think it was part of this but it was.

Saying a sad farewell to running
Unfortunately I developed bursitis/
tendonitis
in my right hip. Physio , scans and the rest showed that my right femur is a bit twisted and imbalanced. I've done Physio everyday since May to compensate but i am advised I will not be able to do more than a light jog.

Hi. I'm new to this site but grateful to have found the enormous amount of useful info. PMR took ages to diagnose due to hip fracture and dynamic screws op at beginning of year - everything was put down to that. Osteoporosis (DEXA scan) diagnosed and AA prescribed. Did anyone have a misdiagnosis before being diagnosed with Hashimoto disease?
Wrist pain diagnosed as DeQuervain's,
tendonitis
, had steroid injections. I had a frozen shoulder which turned into a shoulder impingement, had operation, did not work, still have pain, now in BOTH shoulders. Also tennis elbow on/off.

No more pain in arms and shoulders
After diagnosis of
tendonitis
in both arms by consultant persuaded my GP to give me the jabs and hey Preston no more pain! As a WASPI - no pension until 65 years and 7 months and as only 63 with savings depleting quickly, I had to go back to work.

Undiagnosed
I have light sensitivity, migraines, arthiritis,
tendonitis
, Raynards syndrom and several other joint problems. I was thinking it was lupus but have not tested positive for ANA. They have tried, sulfasalizine, methotrexate, and CellCept, nothing has improved my inflammatory markers or symptoms.

Tendonitis
). I have read the assessment report, which showed the assessor had no understanding of emphysema/copd whatsoever. She seemed to believe that because I had muscular strength, there was nothing wrong with me.

Should I stay or should I go?
Have bought new shoes which are yet to be tried. ( all fitted properly, analysed etc which may have caused what I can only assume is
tendonitis
) but so frustrated as I want to keep going but not sure whether to try it or not. Been resting it and icing it but still feels stiff and hurts to flex.

Frozen shoulder
The right one is due to calcified
tendonitis
and the left one is due to my short neck making my shoulder roll forward. I was also told my big chest does not help. It is most painful at night but also sometimes during the day if I forget about it and then move it just the wrong way.

Ankle pain
Hi any thought on how to cope with Achilles’ tendon pain ? (It’s just where the tendon joins my ankle ). I’ve only just started the programme, and did my second run yesterday. I’d expected some aches but the rest of me is fine. The plan was to get fitter after a 6 month period of not doing much due to

Iliotibial band syndrome (ITBS)
Hi All. I’m on my second attempt at C25K. A couple of years I attempted it and had to give up around week 4 becuse of incredible knee pain which was diagnosed by a physio as ITBS. This time round I’ve done much better and a couple of weeks ago completed week 6. However, the dreaded ITBS has struck

Still got tendonitis 😔
Definitely on the mend but it's still lurking in my shoulders and upper arms. Soon as I do too much the pain is awful. Legs good but don't know whether I should let the whole thing go before trying a run. 14.8.17 my last run, almost scared now to start again

Calcific Tendonitis - Steroid injection

Eventually received confirmation that it could be treated by ultrasound guided barbotage but when I went for this on Friday night was told he

Gluten Free food ingredients.
“Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose” this is an opthalmic solution that has replaced gluten in many gluten free products. This ingredient is also a formaldehyde releaser which means that over a period it releases formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is recognised by the Whorld Health Organisation as a carcinogen. This

Feeling ACE, I smashed week 9 run 1!!!!
After my inability to run further than 10 mins on Wednesday, today I set out determined to run for 30 minutes. It was a beautiful morning and I planned a different route that incorporated some hills at the start but mainly flat and down hill afterwards. Had a banana and two strong coffees, put on my
