No more pain in arms and shoulders

After diagnosis of tendonitis in both arms by consultant persuaded my GP to give me the jabs and hey Preston no more pain!

As a WASPI - no pension until 65 years and 7 months and as only 63 with savings depleting quickly, I had to go back to work. So now doing maths tutoring in a school a couple of days a week to make ends meet. Get tired but great working with students again.

Wishing all a Merry Christmas or Happy Holiday. Xx

Hi,

I'm glad to hear you are back working with students again. I'm sure it gives you purpose as well as income. I'm not sure what kind of shots you are referring to... for the tendonitis? Just glad you are feeling no pain now!

Gioielli,

How wonderful that you are feeling better. When you say "jabs", do you mean steroid shots?

Good news and Merry Christmas from a fellow WASPI. Xx

Did the antibiotic Cipro give you the Tendonitis?

Haven't taken antibiotics for twenty years! Think it is more likely due to my being a keen intriguing paddlers in my fifties -but who knows?? Just so pleased that it has gone!

Hate auto check - not intriguing but outrigger! Though may have been intriguing. Lol

That's great! I was just concerned. Steroids are a good thing when you need them. They saved my life w/AIH.

Hi Gioielli

Nice to see you back on here and glad you have found some pain relief - great news. I had to go a little longer than 60 as I fell into the first wave of changes but 66 now and grateful I do not have to lift and bend all day. My friend falls into the 67 years of age bracket but does not want to work that long, it is tough. I am sure your students are loving having you and your cheerful positive attitude.

Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and every best wish for the coming New Year.

:-)
