Spinal Arthritis
Hi, few years ago I was offered it if facet joint injection worked, however injection didn’t work and therefore didn’t proceed. Do know one person who had success with Radio frequency ablation she didn’t have arthritis though...sorry wish I could be of more help
I have had facet joint denervation and SI joint denervation but don’t have spinal arthritis
Emma: Did it help you?
Hi Kitty, I found the facet joint denervation a breeze and it helped for that issue. The SI denervation nearly sent me through the roof and they kept giving more and more morphine and sedative but I think it was because of scar tissue around the L5S1 disc (disc is which is now not there anymore now due to fusion op). So if you have not had any ops that won’t be an issue. It worked a dream afterwards.
Thanks for your helpful information.
Hi Kitty. I've had various R. F. Injections into my spine. Sometimes for facet joints, (not much success)
The last R.F. Injections, I had much reduced lower back pain for three months. This time the DR tried Neuroplasty in the hope of longer pain relief.
No magic has happened so far but the severe nerve pain is lower. The pain seems to have spread out in a circle instead of being dreadful in one plac AND having the circle of pain at the same time, but it's early days yet.
I have Fibro. and osteoarthritis. My back pain is because bulging discs are pressing on nerves in my lower back.
Best Wishes, Micro.
