Nose bleeds.
Hi. I’m new here. I have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and have recently started on methotrexate. I am having lots of nose bleeds. I was wondering if this is common and wether it is caused by the treatment. Does it go away ?

Arthritis in the spine
Hi I have cervical spondylosis and we needed a good spinal support mattress as my husband too has a bad back, we have an Emma which is just right, it’s supportive but soft too, especially for my spine as I have now just been operated on and the support is amazing. Good luck

concerns about ra and osteoarthritis
I have had ra for 25 years it has been well controlled for most of that time. recently i have had pains in hips and lower back, X-rays show degenerative disc in lumbar spine and hips. I am wondering if ra may cause osteoarthritis to become prominent.

Running with arthritis?
I am a little concerned about my knees. I have suffered from arthritis in them (in remission) but as yet they haven't completely flared up with the running. I know in the past they would have done. I wear support on the worst one. I am being careful, I'm just worried that I'm being foolish running, but

Pain
Have had pain in my hands and less so in my elbows and shoulders for several months. My GP has spoken on the phone to me and been given voltarol gel which helps a bit. Blood tests show raised inflammatory markers and rheumatoid factor. Have been referred to rheumatology as GP thinks rheumatoid arthritis

The British Psoriatic Arthritis Consortium is working with the James Lind Alliance to run a priority setting partnership (PSP)
They are looking to create a national top 10 list of research priorities for psoriatic arthritis. They want ideas and thoughts from people with different experiences and backgrounds: people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, their families, carers and clinicians. This is your chance to make sure

And just like that I have completed 8 weeks of couch to 5k - actually ran the whole 5k today in 47:38, not impressive to most but for an unfit overweight 50 something woman living with Asthma and Arthritis it’s amazing 😉 for those that have read this far I have also lost almost a stone in weight while

NHS rapid policy statement on Tocilizumab for GCA during the Covid-19 pandemic
Hello everyone, and I hope you are all staying safe ( and sane) in these scary times. Forgive me if someone has already brought this to people’s attention, but I only just came across this important statement put out by the NHS which most certainly affects me, and could affect other GCA sufferers who
