Paniking
I got a call from the
surgery
3 days later and they told me my scan showed fatty liver. I was shocked. I didn't ask questions because I was so taken aback, but was given a telephone appointment for the 10th March! I now can't sleep and can't stop thinking about it.

Worried
Since the
surgery
I am constantly burping, even more breathless - I am breathless just from taking a bath. I hobble like I'm about 80 - I am a previously fit 65. My appetite is really bad which people comment on as I have always been a big eater.

Worsening bowel symptoms 😢…any advice welcome x
Still waiting on
surgery
to look at my bowels. Recently my symptoms have gotten worse, prior to moving my bowels the pain starts, excruciating is the only word I can use to describe it. I currently take fibrogel twice daily and have cream for an anal fissure.

9 weeks post-circumcision, still scab
I’m almost 10 weeks since circumcision
surgery
. Stitches have all dissolved and there haven’t been any issues during recovery. I’ve begun masturbation again but I’m yet to have intercourse.

Retuximab and jabs
I'm due the first shingrix vaccine this week at GP
surgery
and was considering having the flu vaccine at the same time while I'm there. Its too late to ring my rheumatology helpline so I'm wondering if anyone on retuximab has had two jabs the same day, different arms. Thanks.

Infection after Blood Test
Surgery
hasn't since contacted me,which I thought they would considering it was done there. From what I've read, this is very rare. Wondering if so should complain?

Prolapse surgery
I have suffered with uterine prolapse for approximately 4 years and have had a Gellhorn pessary for almost 3 years. Prolapse is now at stage 3 with more and more problems with the pessary, discomfort, burning bladder and infections. It came out so now have a larger pessary. This is even more uncomfortable

Sternum wire removal
Have to go in the night before even though its a 15 minute
surgery
with local anaesthetic and sedative. Also might have to stay in a second night as they're not taking me off my blood thinners or anti platelets. Feeling anxious and its nothing compared to what I've been thru this last year.

Zoladex delay
Also - I wanted to ask the consultant whether it’s unhelpful to suppress and decrease deposits with Zoladex before
surgery
(where I want him to clear it out!) and don’t want a
surgery
date to be delayed further by me taking an unnecessary Zoladex. Sorry long post.

Trimbow
So been on Trimble for a few months, prescribed by my Nurse at the G.P.

FET #1
Hi everyone,I'm currently 2dp5dt, my first FET after a failed fresh cycle in 2019, we discovered I had hydrosalpinx in both tubes and I had
surgery
to remove both tubes and gave myself plenty of recovery and saving time!

TRAUMA INDUCED LYMPHODEMA ?? A CAUTIONARY WORD OF WARNING . . HAVE YOU REALLY GOT IT ??
I'd read that my pending shoulder
surgery
, could likely increase the risk of further Lymphodema. So I wanted to know the truth before I agreed to having

How can I support my brother?
My brother has advanced prostate cancer and has had
surgery
. New tests show it has metastasised in his hip. I want to be able to support him but also don't want to say the wrong thing or add to the stress he is already feeling. I would appreciate ANY advice ~ thank you so much.

I had unrelated knee
surgery
the other day. Discussed my PV with the anesthesiologist & he was surprised to hear I never had this test. He said it looks at the function of the platelets. I've never heard anyone mention this test before.

I just don’t know how much more I can take
I’ve had the
surgery
to do excision and I’ve bled non stop since. Yesterday I thought I was finally stopping and today while out with my family I lost a blood clot that almost resembled the size of a fist. The pain and nausea alone is enough to make someone cry. I just don’t know how to cope.

I had hand
surgery
last month, and the recovery has been long and painful. Because I don't tolerate strong opioids l, I had declined the Oxycodone prescription that was offered me. Since I take Codeine-Tylenol for RLS, I naively thought that that would be sufficient for my post-op pain.

Do I need to go back on Thyroxine?
However when the rash appeared I decided to make an appointment at my
surgery
. I saw a 'nurse practitioner' (you never get to see a doctor at our £7 million newly built
surgery
) . She said she was usually quite good on diagnosing rashes/skin conditions.
