Feeling doomed today
Then onto Tocilizumab in Feb but on and off it since for
surgery
and infections. Just had a steady 6 weeks on it and feeling the benefits but bloods have come back showing neutropenia and sky high cholesterol. BP has also risen over the time I’ve been taking it.

Please help us decide on next treatment
We met today with radiologist and oncologist and we were given 3 options: SBRT to the active parts of the prostate and the rib, HDR Brachytherapy to prostate and SBRT to rib or Prostatectomy
surgery
of prostate and SBRT to the rib. Please, please help us decide what treatment is best.

URGENT ADVICE NEEDED FOR ENDO CONSULTATION/ UNDER RANGE TSH
No other health issues in spite of recent
surgery
which I bounced back from in record time, I’m 51 and BMI of 22.4 plus very active. I’m so scared of what will happen as I’ve been told that the endo will have a final say of if and how much T3 I can continue to be prescribed!!

Update on tests etc
Started the Trimbow 167/5/9 this morning (
surgery
took weeks to issue the prescription!), so early days, but it has made me extremely dizzy ( never had that issue with Relvar & Incruse) and all 'on edge' so hope that doesn't keep happening! Time for my saline nebs now. We plod on! Xxx

Update New York
I went to Charlotte orthopedic and they said
surgery
would just make it worse. So they sent me to pain management.I have been through the wringer. Facet injections, epidural shots, physical therapy for over a year, toradol shots. I have tried all the medicines for pain.

Had enough - NHS and severe pain
My wonderful GP (I know, rare) wrote a letter to the consultant asking her to expedite my
surgery
because of how poorly I've been and how badly this is affecting my life (my mum and I were both sobbing for the whole appointment and the poor GP didn't know what to do bless her😅).

Mental health tips please
Had a cardiac arrest and then due to the tamponade had open heart
surgery
on the ward , 10 days in hospital and still getting over the trauma, I found the hospital not very helpful, did not get an OT discharge and prognosis and still waiting for the follow up.

Now been advised cancer has spread to both lungs 😔
I am getting some pain in my lung area and it's really worrying me 😔
Surgery
is still going ahead although my tumour has only shrunk slightly. 3 more chemos will follow. Has anyone else had spreading to the lungs & gone into remission eventually?

A clearer picture
I asked questions about treatment and
surgery
but the surgeon said she wanted to see all test results before answering I feel better informed and know that
surgery
could happen mid/late February. And so the journey goes on! 💪💪💪💕💕💕

Increase injections?
My serum B12 levels are now above range (GP still testing), but after having an injection at the
surgery
last week, I’ve had an increase in symptoms. I have had tinnitus since December and this seems to also be worsening slightly.
