Really lost.
Wants me to start BP meds and
statins
, I don't want. Tried to explain to her how hard I have been trying to lose weight , currently unable to exercise due to injured knee and ankle, have an appointment for steroid injections , not looking forward to it but can't carry on in this pain.

Reversing NASH/Fibrosis
I've been offered
statins
for the cholesterol but I'm going to hold off and try and get it down naturally. I know this is my fault but I do just wish my GP was more forceful 4 or 5 years ago, as this has all come as a bit of a shock.

My husband is on beta blockers, blood thinners and

Vasculitis vs arteriosclerosis, getting pregnant after a CABG and statin/diet questions!
My cholesterol is raised (has been since I was 18, it was about 7.5 so not severe) but I had a good ratio as it was my HDL that was quite high so I wasn’t put on
statins
until my recent diagnosis . I’m now on
statins
, beta blockers and clop/asprin .

RLS meds
Hi everyone, Since your recommendation re meds aggravating and/or causing RLS I have taken myself off
statins
and Amitriptoline. My Dr refused to change them I'll post that conversation later.

Hello, new to the forum
I've been prescribed aspirin, clopidogrel, beta blockers, blood pressure tablets and
statins
, and to be honest I've had quite a few side effects like so many on here. I've had no follow up appointment with the cardiologist (whoever that may be!) since I was discharged on 31 December.

Switch from HU to Pegasys - update 3.0
She also found the Dec ‘21 article EPGuy posted (by Drs Hassebalch and Silver) about chronic inflammation as a driver for MPNs and highlighting possible combination therapies with
statins
, etc., very interesting.

This might sound strange
After my consultation with gastro, I told him my primary took me off
statins
"for now" and I asked about the meds he had me taking. He screwed his eyes "had mask on" up as though questioning my question.

High Statin Dose
Are any of you on 80%
Statins
, if so, does it make you open bowels several times daily, the outcome being, I have lost a lot of weight.

Oral B12 Update
In January, my wife challenged me to look again at my use of
statins
. I was prescribed Simvastatin about 15 years ago as part of the NHS drive to target cholesterol.

Hypothyroidism and the medication conundrum..
Hes been placed on
statins
and its something I'm loathed to end up on. Back in February this year, weighing high 90's kg 5'10 ish, I started attending a gym to feel better, improve fitness and general health and wellbeing.
