Sotalol 40 mg
My cardiologist is a very good and caring individual who goes the extra mile for you. I was surprised when he suggested moving away from Bisoporol and Flecanide and suggested Sotalol to combat my AF and Atrial Flutter He explained that there could be side effects and I was started on a low dose (40mgx2

Hair loss and weekly taxol
Morning, I'm starting a weekly regime of Taxol (initially for 6 weeks) and seeking advice as to whether to bother with the cold cap. I've tried it before when I was on carbo/Taxol but found it unbearably uncomfortable for the length of time I had to keep it on. As the weekly dose will be less and quicker

Pain after chemo (carboplatin/Taxol)
Hello! My wife had her first dose of chemotherapy (carboplatin/Taxol) 2 days ago --- she has high grade serous adenocarcinoma, stage IIIc, and has elected to defer surgery because (a) it seems so radical to remove the uterus, ovaries, Fallopian tubes, (unspecified) bits of the intestine, omentum, spleen

First treatment
Well a short time after my diagnosis, I have now had my first chemo treatment of carbo and taxol. The procedure was fine and I was well prepared for the possible side effects from my CNS. Days 4 to 7 have been hell, I have not even managed to get out of bed. Today, exactly a week later, I feel slightly

Caelyx side effects
Has any one else really suffered on Caelyx/ Carbo? I started on Monday and today is D7. I've suffered terribly with migraines, bad heads and nausea during the night and also nausea during the day. I did wonder if it was a reaction to the ondansetron so stopped taking those as I just cant bear the migraine

Sotalol and Neuropathy
Hi, I have been on Sotalol since May last year (2016). Starting in November '16 I noticed my feet getting quite red, I thought it might be my shower doing it. After about 2 months the whole of my foot was red and a ring of red around my ankles, like wearing a short sock, appeared on both feet then a

Hello All...... I believe I posted a week or so ago about my recurrence after a 27 month remission from Stage4 OC. My doctors thought I'd be eligible to enter a study, but as it turns out, I am not. I will start on Carboplatin and gemcitabine on Wednesday. My previous treatment was the Carboplatin

Taxol and sore feet
Hi all, I've just started on Paclitaxel and after 3 days, my feet are so sore. The discomfort has started in my lower back, gone to the knees and now my ankles and soles of feet especially are so sore, it's hard to walk around. I have the gel socks and huge minion slippers to try to ease walking around

Hi All, I have found everything on this site so helpful in the past week since I have been diagnosed with AF. For me it was a shock which made me very emotional and scared. I had never heard of it. To hear that so many others have had the experience has helped me come to term with it! Thank you. Since

Blood transfusion anyone?
Hi All After having 6 rounds of carbo taxol finishing 4 weeks ago I am absolutely wiped out and can only walk about 100 yds. I am having a blood transfusion on Saturday as blood tests show low readings. Has anyone else had to have one? If so how quickly did you feel the benefits? Fay

Anyone with liver metastasis
Hello all.....Let me start by saying how lovely all you ladies are, and how comforting it is to have you all here. I was wondering if anyone out there has had mets to the liver? I have enjoyed a wonderful 27 month remission, and I thank God for it every day. I know that's more than I could have hoped
