3 months Post Viral Meningitis
About 3 hours later, I started hallucinating, my husband demanded they do something, this is not just a migraine, so they did a
spinal
tap
. Yup, she has meningitis so she will be admitted. I was in such pain that i wanted to take a hammer to my head and knock myself out.

C-section worries
I'm not worried about operations as I've had a few before but I have had a
spinal
tap
(which is what I'll be getting for this) before and during recovery I got really panicked and felt trapped, I kept trying to pull myself up etc. I'm worried that I'm going to have the same experience in surgery.

Back Spasms
Has anyone experienced continuous back spasms? No meds have helped to date. The next step is to try a spinal cord stimulator. Any one used this device and their experience?

Spinal cord stimulator
So I've been diagnosed with CRPS for the last year. This month I finally met with a consultant who wanted to get right now to treatment. I'd already tried most other treatments and was referred to a consultant at St Thomas London for a spinal cord stimulator. Despite many doctors being concerned that

New appointment for pain management
I had L5/S1 spinal fusion in March 2015. All of last year did not seem too bad, either that or I kept telling myself to give my back time to heal and that it would get better. This year I'm not so sure. I have been having sharp jabs in lower back that at times almost brings me to my knees, mostly

I had my appointment yesterday with a multi disciplinary team at the pain clinic. After an interview lasting about 30 minutes I have been accepted for a Spinal Cord Stimulator. Before that I have a nerve ablation procedure to try and relieve the pain in my lower back. Then the wait for a date to have

Good morning! I've woken up today determined to lose weight and get fit. Last week I joined a ladies only gym and got back on my bike again after spinal surgery last year - cycled 5 miles on Wednesday ando 7.5 miles on Friday. I also go to pilates class on Wednesdays and walk my dog. This all sounds

Finally have a diagnosis!
I had some issues getting a definite answer because I have a neurostimulator implanted due to a back injury and was not able to have an MRI so I had to have a
spinal
tap
done. Some bands showed up in my results and now my Dr wants the stimulator removed before she starts treatment....

A little about me
A neurologist was consulted, and after learning of the leg drop issues, and some other coordination issues, and
spinal
tap
, it was determined I had MS. My MS is remitting relapsing. I have a lot of silent MS issues. So if you saw me on the street you would have no clue I have MS.

Spinal cord stimulator
Has anyone had a spinal cord stimulator to help with CRPS? If so did it help, how was the recovery time and are you able to function better then before it.
