Saw cat scan of lungs for the first time, but not sure how to interpret them.
Yesterday, I saw my chest cat scan for the first time. I was at a consultation with a neurosurgeon regarding a spinal cord stimulator. My rheumatologist told me I had only some minor scarring in the bottom of my lungs when he cut my prednisone from 10 MG to 5 MG, but the cat scan did not look like minor

Please review my blood results
Hi, please review my bloods and advise. My TPA antibodies have increased since my last bloods in March. I am under an endocrinologist who said that there is nothing that can be done to reduce high antibodies. I am due to start IVF in four weeks and I am worried it will fail due to high antibodies.

Spinal Fusion identified while on Lung Transplant List
Good morning all, I have been listed on the Lung Transplant List for over 2 1/2 years now. They noticed I had the start of osteoporosis when I was officially listed which they put down to years of taking prednisolone. I have recently had another bone density scan and it showed up a spinal fusion? Has

Greetings
Hello all. I am new to the site. I have been searching for a MBC-specific group to join since our situation is vastly different than many others. I went through my initial Breast Cancer starting in 2012. Stage 3. Chemo, radiation, bilateral mastectomy, reconstruction. All was well until October

Should I push harder for tests to rule out essential thrombocythemia?
I have a complex medical history, mixed connective tissue disease, RA, eosiniophilc esophagitis, hypopituitarism, adrenal insufficiency, exercise anaphylaxis, a bunch of things that are unrelated, some serious, some annoyances. I have extremely high bone density, so have degenerative spinal disease

Has anyone had ACDF/Discectomy & Spinal Fusion Surgery?
Has anyone had this surgery? I’m a potential candidate for this is have large herniated discs in C5-6 & C7-8. My Neurosurgeon said that first option would be a nerve block of pain wasn’t improving (it isn’t) but I feel this would only help pain and wouldn’t sort out the problem itself. I’m a 30 year

Should I send my Y11 daughter back to school?
I am getting really anxious about my daughter returning to school on 11 January (in a year group of c240 kids). My husband was diagnosed with Cirrhosis last June and has had HE, ascites and varices. He's doing much better but is obviously very vulnerable to Covid. I had pneumonia ten years ago and our

Vasectomy complications with AMN?
Hello all, My wife and I just had our second child a month ago. We both agree we only want two children, so I have been planning to get a vasectomy to avoid future pregnancies. Today I met with a vasectomy specialist, and during our consultation, we had a long conversation about concerns with AMN. Because

I was just wondering if this disease has wrecked havoc on anyone's marriage? Another flare, this time post-surgery
I was diagnosed April 2019. I've had 2 flares in that time, but managed to get down to 11mg, and was hoping to stay there another week before another Dead Slow Nearly Stop taper. I had a lumbar laminectomy on Sept 9th, after realising the terrible pain in my back and legs wasn't all PMR. (It can be
