Orthostatic Hypotension
Concensus seems to be meningitis, but two different hospitals were unable to successfully get a
spinal
tap
. I felt grateful that I didn't seem too much worse for the wear as I continued to recover.

Candida Glabrata diagnosis
Hi everyone, My son's headaches were being caused by candida glabrata fungal infection and was confirmed by a
spinal
tap
fluid culture. Has anyone else ever been diagnosed with this before. It's a very aggressive fungal infection. He has cirrhosis. The meds for the fungus can cause kidney damage.

New Symptoms...
My brain MRIs show just a couple lesions and it was difficult getting a diagnosis until my
spinal
tap
results were consistent with MS. My biggest issue is fatigue.

Spinal Fusion at 9 weeks
This is my scar at the 9 week mark after spinal fusion of 7 vertebrae. There are 2 rods and 12 screws in my back to help stabilise my vertebrae after prostate cancer caused a compression fracture. I have discontinued most of the pain medication. I dropped to a 5 microgram Norspan patch yesterday after

lab work 8 weeks post iron infusion - advice?
I had an infusion of Injectafer 750 mg on April 29 and had labs drawn exactly 8 weeks later per advice or information on this lifeline :) Now I would truly appreciate hearing some fellow RLS sufferers thoughts and advice on iron infusion and medications. I’m currently still symptomatic but much improved

My Back prproblems starstarted in the Military
My back problems began while on active duty in the Coast Guard. They diagnosed me with degenerative disc disease and osteoporosis. In May of 2019 I had a Lamondectomy, and in 2020 I had a discectomy. In November, 2023 I had a tubular decompressioin. This comming Fall I will be having a spinal fusion.

1. I attended my 1st PC in 2012 (Cambridge) following spinal decompression which was successful but I also had fibromyalgia. 2. Transferred to 2nd Peterborough PC due to travel problems. Sat through excruciatingly painful group sessions relating to the Biopsychosocial Model and Mindfulness. Course

Surgery Today!
I’m having spinal surgery today in my neck. So glad it’s finally happening but rather nervous too. I have cervical stenosis and myelopathy so I’m hoping this operation will stop the progression of spinal cord damage 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. Has anyone else had this happen. Not sure if it’s RA related or not.

Heartened to know I am not alone in the struggles caused by pramipexole
I have had RLS and PLMD as long as I can remember. I’m sure all of those nights I struggled with symptoms as a child that were brushed off as growing pains…RLS. My mom suffers mildly. Unfortunately, both of my daughters also have many challenges that began as teens. What I’ve been through is so complex

Denosumab vs Bisphosphonates
Dear all, I will keep this brief so that I don't bore anyone! I am 55 yr female, and to my horror, fractured T12 out of the blue one morning two and a half years ago. Little did I think it was a fracture, so I walked and went to the gym for 4 days. This is with evolving neurological signs. Anyway,
