Stupid or not?
I may be stupid and that is one answer but if i am not then someone may have the answer for me. Either way i get a result. I had a heart attack followed by a quad bypass(during which i suffered cardiac arrest) and was found to have FH. My current total chol is 4.5. I had been taking medication(Bisoprolol

I have a

so I'm concerned about that, additional abdominal surgery has left me very weak around the core, but again hope that C25k will motivate me to increase core exercise's that physio thinks I should do for the rest of my life, but he's not so keen on me doing this, we'll see who's

Keep On Running!
I started my second week today! To be honest I can't believe I have stuck with it but I'm now really enjoying it. I had brain surgery last Dec and had been completely sedentary for six month, I also gave up smoking in Oct so my weight rocketed and I went up three dress sizes. I had always been active

You Can Get Help With Eyesite Problems
My Sister-in -Law Audrey was diagnosed with PSP in December 2011 But we are sure that she had been miss-diagnosed for at least 6 years when she was being treated for vertigo and other balance problems. Has anyone had rls change to something else?
I had painful rls all my life, i then had spinal surgery and was prescribed tramadole for pain relief. Since then my rls has completely stopped but has been replaced by myoclonus jerks and a lot of random limb movement during times of rest and sleep. The tramadole is the only thing that keeps me still

question about biphosphonates
when my mother takes her biphosphonate medication it makes her really unwell. She has been advised she needs to take this medication as the prednisolone increases her risk of osteoporosis, even more important for her as she had major spinal surgery last year. Please can you advise if you are aware

Can something this easy actually aid us????
I found this whilst I was looking at another website that I use: ScienceDaily (Jan. 13, 2010) — For those who do not drink, researchers have found that six essential oils -from thyme, clove, rose, eucalyptus, fennel and bergamot -- can suppress the inflammatory COX-2 enzyme, in a manner similar to resveratrol

Anyone had spinal fusion?
I am going to have a
spinal
fusion
operation (only a couple of vertebrae) and I would love to hear from anyone who has had this op. As I live on my own I am wondering how I will manage. How mobile will I be? How long before I am able to get out and about?

Things getting out of hand.com
the above should be a web site! It's how I feel at the moment. I was back with my ortho surgeonon Monday, and shocked to learn I will be in this boot cast mostly for another 3 months, and I thought he would be sending me back to work. What a surprise. I can cycle, but not walk too much, muffin tops

I have to have a

Hello, After being confirmed by MRI that I need a triple fusion of ankle, arthrodesis. I have been trying to wriggle out of getting it done. Asked surgeon if I did'nt go ahead what would consequences be? His answer today was in a nutshell it will get worse and lead to disablement. I thought he
