Elevated cholesterol but no signs of inflammation?
I have closely followed all the debates about statins, and sugar vs. saturated fat, and am a believer that the pharmaceutical industry has vastly overplayed the benefits of statins. I have been on statins for the past eight years, but decided to give myself a break from them, and came off them for seven

I've had herpes for two months I'm finding it hard to cope with it but I'm curious for the future can I spread it into other people if I have nothing there? I can't seem to use condoms as I get sore and irritated for a few after, also I've had oral sex with the boy who I got it of so does this mean now

Pain Clinic, should I ask for a 2nd opinion?
I had a spinal fusion for scoliosis last July and although my spine is now straight I have been left in significantly more pain. Some of the pain is from my ligaments being pulled kicking and screaming into a new position and some from a sciatica type pain. I have difficulty walking, sitting, sleeping

Is there any alternatives to Tiotropium capsules inhalers
I wonder if there are any alternatives to Tiotropium inhalers as there is a shortage in my area. My Dr tried me on a Seabri inhaler but it made me shake too much. He said there were no others but my specialist at hospital said that there were but it was a matter of cost. Does anyone know if this is

Do you think that endometriosis makes you more susceptible to colds and other bugs?
In my personal experience I seem to get more colds a year than I used to. Prior to endo I had one, maybe two colds a year, now I am averaging five to six, and the effects stay with me longer. I have a fever for about four days which incapacitates me, when it used to be something I could muddle on through

Can I do anything to stave off persistent winter colds?
I was diagnosed in early stages two years ago. So far I have had no symptoms and I have 6 monthly blood checks and a telephone discussion with a CLL nurse. However I do get prolonged colds every winter - and that has been happening for about 5 years, other than that I am pretty healthy and fit. Has

Sorry for yet more questions. . . Has anyone had a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and dye test, who also has M.E/Chronic fatigue?
I know everyone is different but I was wondering how long people with M.E/CFS had taken off work to recover.
